  • The Democrats and Acorn started the downward spiral of our economy.

  • Repugnican'ts and DemonCraps all need to go. Vote them all out and vote in fresh new blood with new Ideas and no ties. Vote for political amateurs instead of these political whores who think their job is to decide what is right or wrong. Instead vote for someone who see the jobs is to vote the way the people they represent, want to vote. That is true representation, not trying to decipher what's best for the people as if they know better than those they claim to represent.

  • And when do the Democrats plan to go after THEIR donors from Wall Street?

  • This ad is an act of desperation, because of the Scott Brown win. The Dems irritate me, because they had a big hand in the foreclosure debacle, but don't admit it. Selling homes to people, who can't afford them, was pushed by the liberals. They had been doing that for years.

  • LOL...The Democrats have had all the power DUH. Republicans can't do anything. Yet nothing but damage has been done. If you want to fix things and stop the damage of the past year. Vote Democrats out. Democrats can only do divisisive politics, it is all they know. They pit the poor against the rich, and black against white, and Mainstreet against Wall street. They create the problem so they can promise to fix the problem. Then they make the problems worse, and repeat. When will people wise up.

  • @pataskalagirl, I'm with you on that fact! I'd like to also add that Obama was a very lucky President that the underpants bomber wasn't successful. He's doing a crappy job at keeping us safe.

  • Like Bush on September 11th?

  • @gwalm, so it's okay for Obama to let the underpants bomber on the plane, because you think Bush allowed Sept. 11 to happen?

  • Hey Dems, you had a filibuster proof majority for a year. Fuck bipartisanship...if you want reform you should MAKE it happen. Don't bend over for a party that wouldn't have the courtesy to do the same for you, because I can assure you no Republican leadership cares to share its power with you when you THEY have it. So stop watering down reform they won't agree on anyway, and pass what you think we need, because it's why we gave you the goddamn power to begin with.

  • Dems are like a room full of cats these past three years. Its as if they just can't get it together!

  • You're incorrect. The Dems didn't a filibuster proof majority for 1 year, remember, Senator Franken wasn't seated until July of last year and even then the Dems still had good ole Joe Lieberman to deal with. I agree with you on bipartisanship Dems should know it only works one way with Republicans they expect it demand it but never give it. IMO Make the Republicans filibuster let the American people see for themselves who they really stand for

  • If only filibusters still worked the way they did for Gary Cooper. I'd love to see Senators in adult diapers trying to choke out another hour from dry throats.

  • It's about Wall Street vs Main St because Wall Street preys on Main St. They want wages lower and profits higher. They want people's social security to go down like their retirement accounts did. Republican Supreme Court members voted that corporations can spend unlimited amounts of money of money from their treasuries on the politician of their choice. If you don't know what's wrong with that, you are one of them regardless of what you pretend to be.

  • This country shouldn't be about Wall Street vs. Main Street. Why should it have to be that way? I live in New York, and even though I'm just a restaurant server, if Wall Street tanks, this whole city goes down, not to mention much our economy.

  • @bigjstokes I don't know if you "Get it", but I'm not concerned with New York City, I'm concerned with rural Ohio. I believe in Wall Street, but not the money mongrels who run it. If you believe that taking from rural Ohio pockets, to help you in New York is correct, then I believe seeing Wall Street suffer is correct.

  • If only our party could grow some balls and stand the Republicans down. Pelosi and Reid just aren't getting the job done.

  • Hey DNC, you guys have huge majorities in the congress & senate. FUCK the republicans. I'd like to see Democratic politicians grow a spine and MAKE THIS REFORM HAPPEN! GOP or not. If you guys can do that, I promise you voters will come out & reward you in the ballot box come November!

  • Seconded!

  • Like the direction of this ad. Our Republican friends need to be put on notice that - regardless of their views on any particular issue or personality - obstruction and obfuscation is not something they need to positively reinforce with their vote(s) in the next election.

  • To bad for the sake of "bipartisanship" the dems are going to water down reform, just to have no republicans vote on it... again.

  • Hey DNC, get a spine implant. If Senate Republicans threaten to filibuster reforms, make them go through with it!

Don't just cower at the threat of a filibuster, make them stand up and be seen by the American people, blocking the reforms we need to protect their wealthy banker friends.

  • The Republicans have become the enemies of reform.

It sounds like the people who need to grow a spine are Republican voters.

  • @eatmorenachos, Some Republicans agree with the reforms, but not how the Democrats are going about them.

Be aware that many of the Democrats have very wealthy Wall St. friends too. Don't think they are all that pure. Many of them are millionaires.

  • What reforms do they agree with then?

  • @gwalm, The reforms are for better regulation of Wall St. Also, reform of health care such as, allowing people to buy insurance across state lines and other ideas to help lower prices and to make it more affordable. Right now the Democrats are going too far with the health care reforms. What they are proposing would add a lot to the deficit.

  • @yogeedogee Do you know what happens when you let people buy across state lines? Insurance companies just go to the state that has the least amount of regulations. So yes, maybe insurance would be cheaper, but it also wouldn't be worth anything when you needed it. Secondly, the health care reform bill CUT the deficit over the long term. But don't take my word for it, take the CBOs.

How are the reforms better for Wall Street by the way?
