the p2 is 200 rms.. so 300 would be good.. it might sound like shit either because u dont have ur amp tuned correctly or that speaker needs more juice..

They were getting about 200 RMS each, which I think is the same rating for your MTX's, so unless you have some giant bandpass enclosure or are pushing a huge amount of wattage to them, I don't understand how it would be hard to breathe.

i'm getting alpine type-R's and a Rockford 1000 watt amp soon, so it should be comparable to your system. i probably should have been more specific to my wattage in my description, since the 1000 watt label on my sony amp is to just make it seem more powerful

i got a 300rms mono amp (APX1300 clarion).. will that pump the p2 good? coz its doing a shit job on my 12inch sony xplode 1300 watt.. plz help :(
