If you detonate a nuke at gound level you're utterly destroying a small region of the city, with most of the rest of the energy going into the ground and into the sky; this is inefficient.

There is no such atomic bomb which can immediately turn 10 feet deeper water into steam, there is probability that i might be far away from the origion of bomb's explosion ... you all assumption about my certain death under this attack is not justifible. And it still doesn't account for the poisonous gas created by the evaporation of chlorine from the surface of the pool. If you survive, you'll surface into a poisonous cloud and struggle to breathe as your lungs are chemically burnt. Chlorine is the reason you get a burning sensation in your throat in a pool.

Sorry friend but Nagasaki had it much better than Hiroshima. Nagasaki is nestled in the mountains which prevented much of the blast from destroying much of the city. Alot less people died in Nagasaki and the city wasnt even originally the target. The target was a much larger city than the United States decided to not bomb because of unfavorable conditions in the area.

Actually the USA didn't target civilians, they targeted Japans industrial areas and munitions and military depots- or so the USA likes to say. They were the first to use nuclear bombs and it's unfair and evil that they are telling other countries that they aren't allowed to have nuclear weapons and even have the nerve to go to war with and invade Iraq. It's wrong countries have nuclear weapons but I don't blame them after you already know what happened when Japan didn't have any; surrender.

Sorry friend but Nagasaki had it much better than Hiroshima. Nagasaki is nestled in the mountains which prevented much of the blast from destroying much of the city. Alot less people died in Nagasaki and the city wasnt even originally the target. The target was a much larger city than the United States decided to not bomb because of unfavorable conditions in the area.

These Merchant ships did not hold any military weaponry of the sort. About 1 third of these ships were departing the Pacific ocean. The Japanese sent warnings that if they did not stop bombing their ships than they would attack. Although flooded with warnings no direct response was made and they were ignored.

I have seen many miracles with my own eyes that I cant explain. I have talked to God and he's Has shown me he is listening in many ways. I have prayed for things to happen in my life and they have. I can't explain it, I just know that he listens. I dont believe in religion my friend, I believe in the word of the lord. Religion has been corrupted by many people. Maybe if you prayed with your heart and actually believed, you might be surprised by the outcome. you cant break my faith, so dont try.

I have been at the other end of believing for a good portion of my life and have prayed for the direction my faith was taking to not be my path. Not trying to break your faith, no benifit it for me. Back to my original point though, blaming "the devil" for any of mankinds "evil" doings is a bad practice, it only servers to shift the personal accountability away. Since there is not way of knowing whether or not said "devil" is the root cause, you should stop taking that approach.

God's kingdom is not of this world. You would know that if you read your bible or looked around you. The devil runs this planet, hence there is no justice or no peace. However that doesn't mean God isn't here with us now. God has the power to go anywhere, even the depths of hell.

For instance, read numbers 31. That's god telling the israelites to go to commit genocide against the midianites; kill all the male children, kill all the women who have known men by lying with them and keep the virgins keep them alive so you can rape them.
Charming fellow that god of yours; if it actually existed I'd side with the devil, at least he isn't a genocidal(barely killed anyone in the entire bible!).

What most people think about the atom bomb is wrong. It's not necessarily the blast that kills you, but the radiation. In other words, if you don't die from the blast, you will die from the radiation fallout.

You are correct. Thanks to all the nuclear testing that has been carried out by the nations possesing that technology we all will most likely have acquired some level of radioactive byproducts such as Strontium 90.

Which still hardly compares with the leftover byproducts from the days of leaded gasoline, which ended over 20 years ago, but will take at least another 100 years to clear from the sky. Many maladies that didn't exist before the days of automobiles are being studied for a link to the compounds in leaded gasoline. Nuclear tests are barely a blip on the radar compared to it.
