USA was the only team to tie with Italy in the world cup of 2006. To say that americans cant stand up to italian defense is just wrong. Of course, it is obvious that european soccer has much more talent and experience than american soccer, but they have a lot of potential.

A result is a result, no? That's why we play the matches...yes, it was a poor play that gave the U.S. its only goal in the match, but at the end of the day, the Americans still drew with the eventual world champions. If anything, it's a bright spot to enjoy from a terrible performance in the WC 06 finals.

There doesn't seem to be any good goal calls for football in the English language...or at least none have been invented yet. An announcer for D.C. United in the MLS says "It's in the net! It's in the net!" whenever a goal is scored, but I'm sure that's not the best there is.

Xavier was not good this night. So far I think he is the only good defender for the Galaxy and that's why their was a lot a goals against the Galaxy while they were leading. Galaxy should get one more defender to help him.

On the contrary, If you actually knew anything about football and you saw the game, you will know the defense was great. But in this game the players really put out though. Look how Arturo made it 3-4! He dribble through the entire defense like he was Maradona! Defense was good but Arturo was just THAT good that night. And Donovan? The man got that killer speed! Almost like Messi. Once he is running, you can't stop him! This is a sign that MLS football is improving dramatically.

the defense was horrible!!!! are you serious, goes to show how in denial you are or how little you know....when was the last time you saw a 6-5 in a Brazilian league or a Spanish game....there were times when the goalie in this video was just standing there or when the defense was not marking anybody...

But he took advantage of broken and shitty defense line~ the fact there were many more gol sdoesnt mean it sucked, it was a great game and because of so many goals, it just made it more fun! I hate 1 - 0 games.. its like -.- maybe 2 - 0 are more awesome, but not 1 - 0. But yeah, Spanish and English clubs are pretty freakin good o.O
