I can't help but wonder why there aren't any otter bites, Hippo bites, bear bites, gorilla bites, or some of the larger felines like Tigers or Lions on here. You see I agree with most of what you have said. The part I don't understand is.... This video is to tell us what the most painful bites/stings are but the venom not necessarily harmful to humans. However your number 2 ( the box jelly fish ) although the pain is extremely bad. It can also cause death within 3 mins of being stung by one. So I feel it doesn't belong in this video.

True, but the Box Jellyfish has subspecies. The Iriconji is tiny, it's body not much larger than an average thumbnail. You initially feel nothing more than a slight pin prick. However, within the hour, the incessant pain begins. Some people are in non-stop agonizing pain hour after hour for long periods of time, though rare. However, they aren't usually fatal. Even a bee sting can kill a human within a short period of time.

The venom isn't the most dangerous part. A lot of barbed fishes that are painful or venomous have bacteria laden mucus on the barbs. The bacteria on some stingray barbs causes necrosis around the wound if left untreated. However, one of the best defenses if barbed by some catfish is to actually rub mucus from their bodies on the wound before letting them go. The mucus on their body has proteins that stave off infection in some cases, and promote healing in humans.

what i don't understand is , i have seen the rituals of the bullet ant thing , when one american guy, animal expert or what he is tries it , and he get stung by hundred bullet ants at both hands and he doesn't even pass out or scream he just walks around breathing heavily. a lot of the animals on the list sounds much worse. like the platypus cause it add to you more sensitivity to pain. or the stingray. what the bullet ant does is mostly a feeling of burning.

pain is very subjective, each person has a different sensitivity to pain. however based on many victims, bullet ant causes the most painful sting, despite the box jellyfish is extremely venomous. pain is not related at all to the strength of venom. some extremely venomous animals may cause painless bites and not really venomous animals may cause extremely painful bites. it depend on the substances found in the venom, some substances may induce extreme pain.

leoapp doesn't the brown recluse spider have a very painful sting i heard that when u get bit its only hhurts little like someone pinching you but the posison can make such as a leg go so numb where you can't feel it. Plus iv'e heard it inserts barely any venom but cna easily be fatal because of pain and venom and about 48% of the time you will die from one of these spiders.

all these pain have been measured with pain index (well it's based on all victims experiences, so can be a bit subjetcive), bullet ant has the highest pain index overall. it causes the most painful sting in Animal Kingdom. i mean, what is more painful than being shot by a bullet?

yes, but this occurs commonly after jellfyish sting (not only painful but may paralyze your muscle quickly, you won't be able to swim anymore especially if the water is deep). stonefish sting rarely causes drowning, cos although the sting is very painful, side effects usually occur later. so you're still able to swim (of course you must swim with extreme pain. well, each person has different sensitivity of pain.

yes, elephant skin may reach 2,5 cm in dept. however, although tough, an elephant's skin is very sensitive. Without regular mud baths to protect it from burning, as well as from insect bites and moisture loss, an elephant's skin would suffer serious damage. you know, there are many blood vessels under skin, so bullet ants don't need to penetrate deeply, cos the pain will spread easily through blood vessels.
