  • Awesome!

  • SO FUNKY!!! :)

  • @gezzy321 yep you can!

  • I wish there was VA-Type or Analog-Type versions also. Not everyone likes the cheesy Roland sound.

Good playing by the way, you got the hang if it! :)

  • Simply great. It's refreshing to see someone with an AX Synth play something other then really bad progressive metal.

  • anyone knows how much does that K-uitar costs ;) nowadays in USD ?

if i have money i'd go for the Roland VP-770 as a roland product too, whatever this K-uitar costs

  • K-uitar? How the hell did you get that ridiculous word?

  • here in holland the new Roland AX-Synth costs 999 euro's. i should think it'll cost about the same at your place...

i've tried it yesterday for the first time and i really loved it! absolutely worth the money!

  • it's about 1000+ it's fairly new

  • Nice playing JD73. One question, do you have to plug it in to get sound or just turn on the power switch?? Thanks

  • you have to plug it into an amp or put headphones on

    :)

  • I was surprised at how fat that thing sounds... I've never really liked Roland but that thing's got a classic sound.

  • thanks a lot for the reply!

you don't think this keyboard will wreck my bass amp do ya?

  • NICE!

Hey JD73(or anybody that can answer the question) what are you plugged into here? Does the synth have a typical instrument output(like a bass or guitar to hook up to an amp) or does it HAVE to be hooked up to a computer or mixer. Im looking to use one of these for live performances and an answer would really help me decide. =]

    Thanks!

  • Its got normal jack outputs like a bass or guitar. You can plug it into anything with a jack input-ie mixer, amp, computer interface etc

  • It already has been. Its all over SEA now.

  • I was checking out the pictures of the AX-synth and saw in the backpanel a ATT switch right next to the main outputs. I was wondering if you could tell me what that switch does since you have been able to lay your hands on this gorgeus machine?

  • If the ax synth is connected to a wireless receiver that is intended for low-level

signals (high input sensitivity), set the [ATT] switch

to the ON position to reduce the AX-Synths

    audio output level.

  • Great playing!

  • I think they're releasing it sometime in September according to my sources.

And, goldphinga, how did you get a prototype?

  • They released it already.=.= its 1200 USD

  • This is a prototype AX synth...its not released yet-just to let you know!

  • Wow, just very, very groovy playing. Thumbs up!

  • Lovely. I can't wait for this thing to come out.

Does anybody know if they've scheduled a release date yet?

  • its already out and has been for at least a month. most stores stock it on a special order basis.
