hey good video that we played xentek sometimes my name or wario160786 mexicanpower player is not playing like I have so much other players but if I exelentes good video UVic
I played this game in 2002. I played a few matches online. But the lag was horrible (56k modem) Only today, I found out by your video, that the game is still alive. Maybe I should try it again, since my connection speed have increased ;)
@TemplarFox65 Matches happen in a pretty sporadic fashion. One moment it's all empty, the next you can have a 6-12 player match. The community is very decentralized ever since you could find servers from the in-game browser (as opposed to using something like Gamespy Arcade which features a chatroom). Giants seems to have periods with high and low activity, most players usually show up around spring and summer time. I'd recommend waiting for a sale or procuring it by other means.
@Xentecks Thanks for the info. If anything I still want to buy it for the nostalgic memories. Do people play a lot of three way online? im not too interested in the other gamemodes. I think Kabuto is what makes the game ha.
@TemplarFox65 Usually Three Way, like 2/3 to 3/4 of the time. The rest is spent on Mecc v Mecc.
Also, Kabuto usually gets a bit ignored though when playing with inexperienced players. Team balance is usually also a bit of an issue since Reapers are just very strong. So do reserve some patience if you want to try it online (incl. time to look for a match).
@electricatom2 If you meant the 2:21 part, Kabuto attacks don't always lock on properly, so you can end up clicking frantically with nothing happening : (
