  • That was a good recruiter. He was just trying to help.

  • @HollywoodKendrick if by good recruiter u mean hes good at his job, of course. if u mean good guy, most definitely not.

  • I saw this violates Persec.

  • I pay for this god damn office AND your salary. I need to cut what out sir???

  • @AroundSun no you pay for an extremely extremely small amount of that office. more like you own 1/312202458 of that office.

  • @AroundSun no you pay for an extremely extremely small amount of that office. more like you own 1/312202458 of that office.

  • @zipper978 It is still coercive fourth category spending and I have an equal share of that office as someone who pays more in taxes than I do. This is the democratic part of our government. Tell me you weren't aware of this...

  • That recruit taking anti-depressants was gonna probably screw himself up anyways... even as a civilian...

At least he died "wanting" to serve his country..

  • Isn't it illegal to video tape someone with out their knowledge?

  • @strongmann99 Not in a public setting they were in. Only in private settings like a bathroom or your home.

  • And kids ALWAYS say that..."but the recruiter told me, well the recruiter said this," even when it's not true. F*CK WHAT YOU ARE TOLD. Nothing matters unless it's on paper.

  • People need to remember that half the guys on recruiting duty aren't there by choice, and are under career-threatening pressure to meet their quota for the month. Sometimes they'll pull dumb shit in desperation when the end of the month is coming and their supervisor is breathing down their necks.

  • i am so fuckin tired of hearin this shit... hes a recruiter... honestly i think that its good to get these dumb fuck kids off the street and under army care, honestly i had to lie a little getting in.... if you talk about so much as a broken bone from 13 years ago it demands papers and a possibility of getting disqualified- its bullshit- quit complaining...

  • bull shitt no us army dosent take lien solider 32 alpha infantry that's what I am hooah

  • @brwneyedlove You must not know the first thing about recruiting. Yes our missions are relatively low and yes people are coming in droves but have you any idea how many of them are fat & out of shape? Dumb as fuck? Weak bodied pussies? Criminals? Undesirables who don't meet the minimum standards for life much less the Marine Corps? Don't get it twisted man. Just cuz they want in doesn't mean they're getting in.

  • im glad im out the army this month, the only thing good about these 3yrs was the post 911 bill...

  • @49erSacraKing916 YEP! Wish I could go back and time and get the last 6 years of my life back :(

  • NOW IS A GOOD TIME TO BE A RECRUITER. SHIT EVERYONE AND THEY MAMA TRYING TO GET INTO THE MILITARY. THATS THE ONLY THING THAT IS STABLE

  • as a recruiter I dont lie or give bad information, there are guys out there that do and it is sad, the thing is you are put under so much pressure to get people to join or you will get a bad evaluation and it could end your career, but so can lying. I just urge all to do your homework in the branch you want to join so there is nothing you dont understand.

  • merchants of death

  • my recruiters dont say this

  • If they act any other way, their careers will suffer and/or they won't make quota. Sucks, but that's the way it is. A lot of recruiters don't even volunteer for that duty - I'm on orders to go and I certainly didn't volunteer.

  • 2010 recruits are raining into recruiters offices!!!

  • Luckily I got out of the Army because I was only in the DEP. When I called my recruiter saying I changed my mind, he insisted I needed to go to the station asap to fill out some paperwork, which I didn't. If my recruiter was 100% honest, I would've joined. Out of everything he told me, probably 15% was true. Luckily I knew about the GI Rights hotline at that time.

  • I was thinking about joining the army once. I went to the MEPS center and all the other people enlisting couldn't do the required ~15 pushups, ~13 sit ups, duck walk, etc and the army personnel there was just like okay, your good. I was gonna leave at that moment but they gave us tracking devices to wear around our necks. I felt so out of place, most of the enlistess I talked to said they were joining the Army because they either had troubles or were drug/alcohol abusers.

  • @silvia180sxboy i feel you man. when i went i seen the most out of shape pathetic scene of people who are going to be holding a rifle in their hand. you know how you can look at someone and tell there athletic. you can tell that gene totally skipped them. they are just pouring into the meps everywhere.

  • reporters dont understand recruiters arent their own boss . they have a boss called a company commander. and eventually it goes all the way up to the president of the united states. what makes them think they have any more freedom to go in and question and expect answers? thats like walking into the CIA and demanding everything they have. doesnt work that way... the president is the boss and you get the answers he wants to give you not the ones you want haha

  • tssss recruiting offices are packed right now!!!! alot of people are enlisting by tons right now cause there arent alot of jobs

  • True is was I'm going to say, my recruiter station is about 1 hour from here so we have sometime to talk so what I discover... The question about a bee sting, I anwser yes I'm allergic, I swallow up, well said the recruiter, you dont have to say that to MEPS, keep down, because MEPS wants you to be disclassified, they want you to not pass the fisical, their misson is to reprove you. I did not lie, and went ok.

  • They allowed me to enlist. I was on anti depressants. Good thing though I didn't go through with it. The reserves was a bad choice for me. I'm going to college now, and maybe in the future i'll join the AF, but probably not the Army.

  • wow, the reporters in this video are really trying to take advantage. soldiers at any level are not authorized to speak to the media. and they got caught off guard. i hate it when people take one example and apply it to everyone. that's stereotyping.

  • i joined the army...

  • @cammmodotorg

Learn what you are talking about. Moral waivers are DOWN. Tremendously. Look at the last 3 years worth of numbers. You are dead wrong. The standard has been raised. Waiver requests are being denied. With the economy, they are getting better recruits.

  • @MAOfights - next you'll be telling us that suicide rates are down, veteran unemployment rates are down, Stop Loss has ended, and 17% of U.S. Army recruits did not require moral conduct waivers in 2008 to be eligible for enlistment. I'd like to talk more with you about that oceanfront property you have for sale in Kansas.

  • @cammmodotorg

Review the current numbers. They are not approving waivers that they would have even a year ago. It is damn near impossible to get in with a criminal history.....they aren't even taking as many clean kids with GED's these days.

Suicide rates and vet. unemployment are up, but that does not change the current trend in recruiting. Way to bring up irrelevant information to try to bolster your argument.

  • @MAOfights- only an Army recruiter would say that sky high unemployment and suicide numbers are not relevant to recruiting. Your job would be a hell of a lot easier if that were true. But it is just another USAAC lie.

  • @cammmodotorg

Not a recruiter at all. They are not relevant to recruiting. Those issues have not affect or bearing upon initial accessions.

  • @MAOfights they are relevant to educated potential recruits- the ones who visit CAMMMO, at least. And we have the testimonies to prove it.

  • @cammmodotorg

Perhaps, but they are not relevant to recruiting policies like you attempted to state.

  • @MAOfights Nothing I stated was false. The U.S Army needed moral conduct waivers for 17% of their 2008 recruits to be eligible for enlistment. Take away those 17%, and the U.S. Army would have missed their 2008 quota by still more than 10%. That is a fact that can be backed up by hundreds of sources. Unfortunately, youtube allows no links. Anyone who can google the words can see that it is undeniably true. Lowered standards and recruiting in jails is provable, too.

  • @cammmodotorg

Look at 2009 and the current FY. Things have changes tremendously. Check them. I know what I am talking about...I am seeing a lot of people would have be able to be waivered a few years ago, not even get submitted.

  • @MAOfights - Then perhaps the negative press about the quality of U.S. Soldiers finally gained some traction. I'll believe that standards have been raised back to an acceptable level when other indicators of quality troops- such as murder rates, sexual assault rates, and suicide rates return back to levels in line with the general population. Until then, it should be an easy decision for any informed young person to avoid service in today's U.S. military.

  • @cammmodotorg

If you want to see it...look at the reduction of GED applicants, moral and medical waivers. You don't want to see something that proves your wrong. Yes, suicide is an issue.....I can't stand that it is as bad as it is. There are options for these soldiers. The Army is working hard on this...trust me....I have been through 9-10 train sessions on this in the last 18 months.

Also, unemployment is an issue.....in the NATION, not just for veterans. Veterans barely have a higher rate.

  • @MAOfights - Only 1 argument is handicapped by facts, and that is yours. How about sexual assault rates? 29% of female service members report being raped by a fellow service member at some point during their service- with 40% reporting sexual assault of some sort during their enlistment. Barely a higher unemployment rate? What happened to strength for now, strength for later? I'm not expecting perfection- but don't our kids deserve truthful advertising? Why the need for todaysmilitary.c0m?

  • @cammmodotorg

First off, on the sexual assault...get to know many of these soldiers with these claims and you will see that less than 10% hold any water. I am not trying to diminish those that are truly assaulted, but numbers are up due to a lot of false allegations right now. In my unit we have 3...2 of which are very obviously bunk.

  • @MAOfights - Shameful. Your attitude towards the problem sums up the problem entirely. You're a recruiter. Now, I have no doubts.

  • @cammmodotorg

I'm a recruiter? Really? Prove it guy! You couldn't be more wrong.

I have seen the IAVA create so much tension and conflict that resolution could not be found in a case at my company(civilian company not Army). You have no fucking clue who I am, my experience level or what I know. You spout a lot of BS and qualify it by utilizing only the facts that support your ignorance and not the entire story....just like the IAVA does on occasion. The IAVA needs to be more balanced.

  • @MAOfights - thought you may want to know that there is a great summary of the unemployment problem for Veterans on IAVA's website today. They don't agree with you that the vet unemployment numbers are in line with what should be expected in our current economy. In fact, they point out that Reserves, many of whom left civilian jobs to deploy, are facing unemployment rates quadruple those in 2007. And that is most certainly not what Reserves commercials are selling.

  • @cammmodotorg

IAVA is an organization with an agenda, and will spin, spin, spin.

Reservists are protected federally from such actions and employers are seeing record fines and other penalties for taking such actions. I work with Reservists a lot, and more than a few companies out there are more than friendly. Reservists are educated on their rights from AIT on. They need to push back when faced with such adversity....

  • @MAOfights - IAVA is an organization with an agenda? And what might that agenda be?

  • Comment removed

  • @cammmodotorg you are a douche. go live in iraq if you hate america so much

  • @jpeters1734 - you are a child. We'll stay here and fight for a better America, and leave sleeping in Iraq to the illegal invaders.

  • @cammmodotorg So in your opinion, a better america is one with no military? How long do you really think we would last if the terrorists knew we were pushovers?

  • @jpeters1734 - No. In our opinion, a better America is one with a military that does not use moral conduct waivers, does not recruit with video games, does not recruit with motorsports, does not recruit with the Boy Scouts, does not violate homeland military propaganda laws, does not have a suicide rate higher than the general population, does not have a 40% female service member sexual assault rate, does not have a homelessness rate 20 times higher than the general population, etc, etc, etc.

  • Hey do u know what I can do because I have 3 felines but they Ben dropd to misdeminers and some army recruiters say I can get a wavier but then some say I'm dq for all branches can anybody give me some advice and tell me what I can do please. HELP

  • @23960Bossman

3 cats dropped to misdemeanors? LOL

Ok seriously....it is HARD to get a waiver these days. Chances are, with 3 felonies, you will not see a waiver get approved. That is a lot to deal with. There are people being denied that require much, much smaller waivers than that.

  • COME ON SGT FIRST CLASS your getting the big bucks lol man these videos are awesome there really helping me pull through the rest of the time I have left in this hell

  • Those army recruiters are really salesmen. They try to speak your language and sound cool. They offer college scholarships and tell you some amazing stories.

  • i was in the same boat with the army recruit but i was not sucidel i had some other medical conditions. if the recruit where straight and honest i could have never join the military. However he was not. i was only 18 lost after high school.

  • Boycott US armed forces. Go to college or university.

Allow the children of Bush, Rumsfeld, Paulson, Obama, Pelosi, and Reid to serve in combat PRIOR to your considering enlisting.

  • and at the meps they have a scare tactic of 5 years in prison and a 10 g fine

  • hardly no one would even enlist if the recruiter hadn't lied.

  • exactly

  • Now that is really fucked up there lying to get in the Army cause of the antidepressants.

  • just watch full metal jacket lolZ, lieing to get into the military rocks... its the only way to make it fast and simple. they dont need to know that shit any way.

  • Help educate young people about the misleading military marketing, advertising and recruiting strategies of the U.S. Army by joining and supporting the web site that is the same as our user name. Whether due to Stop Loss orders, lack of mental health treatment, deplorable conditions in barracks and on bases, or violations of global laws of armed conflict; the U.S. military uses sports, music and video games to distort young peoples' perceptions of life or death in the U.S. military. CAMMMO

  • Come on obviousely the recruiters want people no need to embarass them

  • dont lie you will be in jail the recruiter didnt lie the recruit did

  • I don't blame the recruiter. I blame the system.

  • @coley83 what the fuck are you talking about? i blame the recruiter and the system!

  • he killed himself during boot camp! lmao! sorry bout laughin bout death but damn! people don't even think before dey enlist into the military...IT'S THE MILITARY! any branch goes to where there is trouble right? wtf...people nowadays gotta be 100% sure before dey join

  • Please help educate young people about the hazards of joining the U.S. Army by supporting CAMMMO

  • wen they run out of solger theyl force you to goint.

  • I like how the army copied the Marine digital cammies and reproduced them in a camo pattern that blends in and obscures from nothing fucking army idiots.

  • Wow lol your a retard it was the army that first made the BCU camo, the marines just use a woofland and desert camo, damn get your facts straight.

  • shut the fuck up cocksuking faggot fuck, ignorant swine. Go turn a wrench on youre fucking VW dick licker

  • wow look that marines IQ= MAYBE A 4

  • Looks like echelon269 forgot to take his Zoloft.

  • No Marine MARPAT was the first. It was created in springfield MA

  • the army didn't copy them lol. every branch was making designed there own.

  • hey idiot, you do know that the Army came up with their new uniforms before the Marine Corps, right? Know what you're talking about before you 'type' in this case.

  • I'm a soldier in the U.S. Army. I'm a tank commander on the M1 Abrams main battle tank. I love the Army! I didn't join for the money...I have plenty of it...I drive home every night in my 2007 Lamborghini Mercialago....and take out my soldiers on my never ending tax payer bank account! HOOAH!!!!

  • A subject is the tool of a government. The government is a tool in the hands of a citizen.

  • wow allways target the army fuck outta here marines do it also to before i enlisted i was going to join the marines, they also told me to lie about alot of shit but in the end i made the best choice i join the army hooah

  • you join they army you mean joined the Army you dumb piece of shit

  • Who cares? Let them in.

  • No shit right? I think the recruiters think they are helping the people that have to "cheat the system" to get them in.

  • why do they act surprised this shit happens all the fucking time! anyone can go to any army recruiter and they will tell you to lie about your med history...drug use...and criminal background these guides get big bonuses to get new recruites

  • Hey I know this is a comment you posted months ago, but I gotta straighten out your story here, big guy. I was a recruiter for 3 yrs, ending in dec 08, and they don't get "bonuses" for signing up people. The only thanks I ever got from ANYONE was from the person who enlisted then came back and thanked me for telling them the truth. It is a tough job, but it would be a lot easier if the qualified american people would do some homework and research what they think to be the truth when it isn't.

  • Then what is your incentive for recruiting people?

  • It's not a matter of incentives really...it's because recruiters are usually very professional NCO's, and are 'voluntold' that they have to recruit. even though it's not their first choice they still do it to the best of their abilities, beacuse that's what dedicated soldiers DO. It can be a great job, or a shitty job, but regardless, recruiters do their best. It's almost like being honor-bound. I know it sounds cheesy, but when you're a soldier you just take some things seriously.

  • i think if the person willing to enlist wants to hide certain parts of their life just to get in the hell with it let them

  • THERES PRESSURE

  • i dont understand why ppl hold army in such high regard. you wouldnt belive what kinda circus it is...

  • no kidding i just recently changed my mind about joining. the army is so inefficient and it seems like everyone treats you like shit

  • don't hate on the people who put people in the Army.!!!!!!!!!

  • Gee.... According to Move America Forward, anything negative about the recruiters is treasonous. I guess the news media should be locked up for dissent? Or maybe they want to try the recruiters telling people to lie for treason? Let Move America Forward know why people dislike recruiters! (They have even gotten congressmen to try and withhold funds for elementary school lunches and state University funds.)

  • "I guess the news media should be locked up for dissent? Or maybe they want to try the recruiters telling people to lie for treason?"

In todays world every other kid is on meds for some disorder. Those recruiters are only telling people not to be stupid enough to admit to things the govt isnt likely to find. Do you really want to live in a world where some kid who may have said something stupid while in school has to pay for it for the rest of his life?

  • What does something a kid says in school have to do with lying to join the military? You lost me on that correlation.

  • "What does something a kid says in school have to do with lying to join the military? You lost me on that correlation."

The video is about the recruiters who tell you not to admit to things that cant be proven. If every kid in America who had been on meds at some point in his life was honest about it we would have a military with about 5 qualified young adult applicants nationwide. The media is being ridiculous, recruiting stations are unpopular so they report on what many hate.

  • man wish those reciuters tlked to me.i would of been at basic if i would of scored a 31 on the asvab but i scored 2 fuckin points away a 29.

  • how do you only get a 29???? those are third grade questions for gods sake

  • you got a 29? I got a 72 and retook it cause I thought that was embarrassingly low

  • LOL, i bet the low lifes i served with were crack heads who made it threw the system.

Although I didn't get killed, I almost did a lot of times.

  • You almost got killed? In the Navy? Did the guy sleeping above you fall on you or something? Did you fall off the ship? How the hell do you get killed in the Navy?

  • LMAO

  • Caught in the fuckin act, gotta love the bull shit and lies.

  • "Caught in the fuckin act, gotta love the bull shit and lies."

You never did or said anything in your life that you dont lie about in order to get ahead? You would be the only human on the planet who could make such a claim. Todays society labels common teenaged angst as a serious mental disorder and puts kids on meds for it. Those kids are limited for the rest of their lives in terms of career choices. The recruiters are just telling them not to admit to what cant be proven, a second chance.

  • see this is the problem people only look at the bad side of things out of like thousands of recruiters how many are actually like that

  • Spread the word!

  • Fuck these lil pussys that cant hack it!!
