I'm sharing this song on my site for it's SUPERB sound quality!

  • My god, im sad i was born itno a generation of dim-wits who if you look good, it means your 'talented'.

This music is the finest and greatest music to ever enter the world

Hopefully in the years to come, maybe..just maybe the odd person will give us a glimer of hope by bringing out a truely great song

  • @FluffyCat870 looking good was a criterion of "talent" back then too. Just ask Fabian, or Elvis for that matter!

  • Love it ^^

  • he's really really cute! :P

  • The late 50's and 60's was and will always be the finest music. Lets face it, what still keeps getting played yep the 50'sand 60's. Present day music is rubbish performed by crap groups and singers.

  • ooooh love this!

  • serioiusly - there is nothing better than 50´s, 60´s and some stuff from the 70´s - unbeatable!

  • I wanted the time back! today is too aggressive music makes people crazy

  • My grandmother got me listening to this kind of music <3

If I had to choose either this or the music these days....i'd choose this.

  • this music is fantastic i liked very much .

  • Plz, take good care of my baby , until we meet again ...

  • If Bobby Vee cheated on me...I'd probably take him back!

  • old but gold

  • Aaaaah great Oo... But to all the people out there... Of course modern music is great... but you have to search far away from the charts.

It doesn't make the music actually bad, when >>I<< don't like it! ... But I must agree, that there're some stuff out there, which makes it difficult to find the music and the art in it^^

  • Is the moral of this song don't cheat on your girlfriend by any chance?

  • ever since i was like 5 this song makes me cry everytime i hear it. i have no idea why. i love it.

  • I love this song! Oh and holy shit, it's Anthony jeselnik lol

  • @LittleMissCutie1313 Yeah right...

  • Creo que suena mejor con bobby q con johny :D

  • I grew up listening to my mom and dad's old 45's. Such awesome memories .This was a favorite. I'm 43 now and both my parents are gone but I still have their records. They live on through the music.

  • Just remember listening to this song as a kid, absolutely brilliant :)x

  • Why can't music like this remain popular?

  • music has gone crap now and the old songs are the best

  • @eternaltoccata it can.. thanks to fans of the music and you tube :)

  • you look back and think they new how to sing

  • I love this song so much...<3 <3 <3

  • I adore this song. It must be one of the very many ways my grandfather influenced me.

  • after my dad made his speech at my sister's wedding, he played this song after he was finished lol

  • Its a shame how this music is no longer whats being recorded today. I mean, its so much more original. /the music from this time is just happy and up-beat and everyone loves it :)

  • When i was 9 my dad gave me a tape with amazing old songs and i remember this one, Im 18 now and still love this! I hardly even listen to new "music" I take a History of Rock N Roll class now that im in college and thank my dad for showing me such awesome music at a young age

  • Prends bien soin de Christian

  • Im a 17 year old girl and all day Ive been listening to Bobby Vee and Showaddywaddy.

  • I've never really listened to this song properly. It's really sad!

  • every generation has its own music...welcome to ours, enjoy it cuz the shit your kids listen too will make you cry....hahaha..kidding kids, we love you.

  • @david24821 That's why the music in the 1950's was so undeveloped, because people couldn't even write their own songs. They had to go the lame Elvis Presley way and have it written for them, they also didn't play the instruments. Thank god for the Beatles cause then we got music instead of a bunch of corporate crap shoved down our throats. This song is good, but the music of the time is far below the standard of any decade after it's music, and the albums are littered with filler songs.

  • i wonder wat geting castrated feels like

  • Nothing wrong with nostalgia. Memories are important and we all share that common trait.

  • This song was 50 years ago no.7 in the world charts #bobby #vee

  • @JazzyD97 I'm only 2.

  • What I love about the 60s music like this great classic is the great backing vocal harmonies and orchestral arrangements that sadly, you dont get often on songs in these difficult times .

  • @JazzyD97 Keep loving them;)

  • So much nostalgia. Perhaps we oldies are not that happy and that's why we look back so much.

  • I'm 14, and all day today I've been listening to music from the '50s, '60s, '70s, and '80s. It makes me truly sad that music isn't this great these days.

  • @PedersW but luckily there's a group called the baseballs who do cover's of modern songs 2 make them more 50's/rockin, they do stuff like umbrella, hot 'n' cold, born this way, poker face, angels, dont cha, etc. cehck em out

  • @PedersW Good for you!!!!!!!!!!!! I was like that in High School back in the 80's too, Besides listening to 80's I was also getting into music from the 50's, 60's and 70's. Some people thought I was weird but good is good not matter how old. I did get some people into Little Richatd.

  • @PedersW yea :(

  • @PedersW It is nowhere near as good. I'm 20 and since 7 I've been lamenting the fact that the radio doesn't sound like my Dad's vinyl collection. A lot of great music not played on the radio. Just need to look for it. I personally endorse the band Best Coast and their song "When I'm With You" Also "Wetsuit" by The Vaccines. I could recommend you tons of songs.

  • @PedersW ya agreed kid! Wish I would hear this more often. On the radio, nightclubs etc.

  • @PedersW Exacly the same in every way. :)

  • @PedersW in 50 years, you'll have a good laugh at all this modern music, not like happy life, but a cruel one

  • @PedersW there are great musicians out there.check out some underground death metal, they're still good.

  • @PedersW Then you are very smart.Good for You!!!!!!:D ;)

  • @PedersW Are you sure you would have listened to this music when you had lived in the times it was new and modern as dubstep is nowadays ? in the past it had not this nostalgic feeling as now.

  • @wegladlyperish i see your point but music back then didn't have a cuss word on every other lyric like now rap rock doesn't matter

  • @NakiZakimaru okay, but there are so much actual songs and music styles, in which there are no cusses.

And rock'n'roll was since its appearance associated with drugs, violence and sexuality, so that people back there interpreted it as thread for the moral and good habits, as destructive and i guess a lot of people were the opinion that this is no real music.

  • @PedersW im 18 and i listen to that kind of music since i was a baby ^^ Cuz of my parents XD i coudn't live without the music.. sure, i also listen to da music from these days but... u know.... greetings from austria

  • this song is a sad song but i like it very much

  • I love this song

  • take good care of my baby ....and tell her/him that you love her/him...and if you discover that you don`t love her/him send her/him back to me...

  • take good care of my baby ....and tell her/him that you love her/him...

  • Danced to this one each Friday morning in seventh grade. It was our Phys Ed class, and what a fun way to exercise. Carol, Beth, Diana, and Rachel were my usual partners, and we were so darned happy. I miss them so much, and thank God for the opportunities life has given me to interact with, love, befriend, laugh with, cry with, and gaze upon so many beautiful girls and women. At the risk of sounding crazy, I honestly feel I have had an absolutely miraculous and wonderful life. Same for you?

  • @JazzyD97 keep it that way :)

  • Another great one, thank you so much, I was born in the 60es and my dad had all those 45's and LP's, although we live in Belgium and speak french, my sis and I were raised listening to all those melodies :o)

  • Smokie has a good version of this song, better than this in my opinion.

  • This song makes me almost shed tears..its very sad, that a baby girl has to part from her daddy, at least for the time being..='(

  • From the 50's to some of the 90's.. tahts my music genre. The shit which they play these days isn't music. THIS is music. where you can hear the lyrics and it's not about sex! I'm 18.. and love stuff like this <3

  • @gingenicola Tons of great bands and artists around now. Just because they don't recieve much radio play doesn't mean they don't exist. I recomend Best Coast, Two Wounded Birds and The Vaccines if you like old 50's vibe things

  • It's amazing that still exist people with sixteen years old that like this kind of music. These were the times when great music was done. Sweet 16. Not Justin Bieber's thingies. Love the classics always :))

  • Agreed with the angry thing!!

  • @JazzyD97

its good to hear that lol! i am 16 but i love these songs sooo much! brings back so many memories :)

  • So many memories :)

  • @JazzyD97 you're a faggot

  • Songs like this make me think I here up in the wrong generation

  • @JazzyD97 That's because they don't make them like this anymore. The world was different then. We were secure, in love, prosperous....things were good. Not at all like it is today.
