Your constructive criticism is valid, TF, and I'm sure Maya gets what you mean, whether or not others do. My opinion is that the good intentions of your first post work far better than the condescension in your second--not everyone is on the same page, but hey I'm just another guy making an observation.
I think in some cases, Maya's voice, and her skill will it, are just a little too... pardon my lack of proper terms, but... BIG for some of the songs she does. White rabbit suited her well.

In music we call her style country/west-twang (yeh that's proper terms) My personal opinion is that her voice isn't suited to this style, it sounds good, but the resonance isn't there. She'd be better suited to something by the waifs. :)
