Does the photo booth software give the option of not having to keep too big of an eye on the booth in other words I seen where it gave the option for the attendant or the subject being able to choose to print. Well can it just go ahead and print after 4 pics have been made?
If you build your own photo booth, depending on the materials you use, you can definately keep anywhere between $1000 and $2000 ... I built my 1st photo booth 2 years ago, and re-did it completely after I saw the 'Doing it from Scratch' Videos on how to make the road cases... So now 2 of my booths look like huge road cases, and the last one is more antique looking... I gotta say I owe it to MM... Houston Party Booths is the site to check out
this photo booth sounds a good idea but i dont like the idea of a touch screen monitor due to the price is there away that i can put a standard monitor in with a camera and control it outside a booth?
I like the PVC Idea you could actually sew the drapes out of the white material and have a led light glowing in the background changing colors. What are you looking at as far as cost of printing? lotta ink if your doing a proms? Do you charge for adding it or do they pay per pic? things to think about.. Boogie
Love the ideas! thanks for the video's. I was thinking of maybe being able to batch the files over a network so (once approved by me) i can do a photo montage to the projectors? Would be great for high school dances, girl scout dances, ect.,
omg im gonna go out of business now when enough people find out about this,,,, just like when $30 chocolate fountains came out, put soo many wedding vendors out of business,,, im depressed :(
Mark You will be just fine ... you are doing just fine .. Costco sells Bouncers and your not out of biss yet because you offer a service and its not as cool as the real thing and the entertainment value of the whol booth thing ...Its still not cheap you need to buy a compute,r software, tons of scrabing crap and build the booth ...gwt it there, set it up, tare it down and get it home, so Im sure your depression is a bit premature :-) smile youl be just fine ... Keep thinking out side the box
Hey DJ MM. I think the best way to build a booth is probably making a rectangular frame from PVC, and then draping cloth over it and putting a couple chairs or a bench inside. Very easy to take the PVC apart. If you use wood it would probably take forever to setup, break down and transport...unless you can make it work
This is great I like watching your video's . That is a great Idea . I am already working on plans to make a Photobooth. Did not know about the software I will have to check that out.
Awesome! If could keep it under $1000, that would be sick. You also need to factor in variable costs such as ink and photo paper. I would look for a printer with long lasting and cheap ink, then buy two so you have a backup. Also, it you could incorporate a netbook, that would keep cost down too. And ideal setup would have to 2 netbooks, 2 printers, and two cameras. I think you could do all this including the booth for under $1200

What kind of paper do you use in your printer. is there special paper to get the strip of pics? Where can it be purchased?

If you get a usb interface you can wire up buttons so you don't need an atendant.
syncmaster710n14 2 years ago
