  • me encanta la película ayer la dieron por Universal, de igual manera la canción es espectacular

  • personally i think the cast and plot of this film were near perfect a cruise and foxx's performances could not have been bettered. The soundtrack was also brilliant. thank you michael mann...

  • Great vid! :)

  • Bruce Willis should have done that role !!!

  • omg this is so fake

1:36 how can he sing and not open his mouth ?

  • @x1c3x omg this is from a movie clip with the audio tacked on. that jazz guy was playing a sax so obviously he wasn't singing.

  • @Someguy029

    welcome to the internet

  • @x1c3x you realise thats a saxophone, not a microphone right?

  • @ollytoasterboy

EXACTLY so how can he sing at the SAME time ?!

    FAKE

  • @x1c3x haha, seriously?

  • This movie will stand the test of time. Tom Cruise did an amazing job, and he really fits as a badguy hitman. Very underestimated actor imo, i don't care if he is scientologist.

  • what a bass line!!

  • that car crash scene wasn't suppose to happen, they were suppose to bounce off the median not flip. nuts rright?!

  • I love the great comments here. Tom Cruise is awesome. This movie is awesome. To hell with you people who don't get it.

  • I only bought one dvd in my life, it was this movie. Nothing can touch it.

  • He was a badass in that movie. "tell him to shove this yellow cab up his fatass"

  • darwin

  • "I can tell you why people go insane"

  • Probably oner off Cruises greatest........

  • La plus belle musique au monde !

  • @TheoBroggi : si tu réfléchies bien, tu vas comprendre que tu fais fausse route

  • @nico9630 Aaaah ! ^^

    :P

  • this is magic specially at night in my car driving nowhere ...

  • Awesome Awesome song man.

  • I heard chris Cornell was number 4 all time male rock vocalist. Other than Robert plant... Who's better. - no one I say

  • Ultimate night-time city driving song

  • Some general animal symbolism of the Coyote: Skill Instinct Ingenuity Enthusiasm Transformation Inventiveness Intelligence Playfulness Resourcefulness

  • Jamie was the hero

  • This movie is great i wouldn't change anything

  • I don't understand the scene with the coyotes

  • @agent254422 It's a metaphor for Vincent.

  • @MrsPennywise96 that he's lonley or something?

  • @agent254422 Here: imdb.com/title/tt0369339/board/nest/171076312

  • WOLFS?? lol, love it... people are incredible creatures. Just make a dumb ass comment, who cares about the rest.....

  • 5:31 "Life's too short for long names."

  • great song and two great actors one awesome movie

  • Hey is that my Briefcase there??

  • The scene with the wolf is shattering... Wolf is a symbol of loneliness and freedom... Look at vincent's and max's face.... wow......

  • @Stra13tos it was a coyote u dumbass

  • mark ruffalo looked silly in this movie

  • That weird helicopter and bag pipe like "music" ruined the interlude.

  • Morello is god

  • cruise's best movie so far

  • Great movie even better song!! Cornell and Morello are amazing!!!!

  • I really think Tom Cruise should have killed Jamie at the end!!

  • @wintersnoob same here

  • @wintersnoob

Then you missed the point of the film.

  • @HyperU2 Really? The point of the film was some taxist that never touched a gun...starts shooting in a 1v1 duel against a highly skilled and experienced hired killer and the taxist wins? Tom Cruise doesn't even hits him once...that's the point of the film? Being unreal? Or you just mean the point about the "guy that sits on the train in LA and dies and nobody notices"?

  • @wintersnoob

Shit happens, it's out of your control. Skilled or novice.

  • @wintersnoob Obviously the reason Tom Cruise missed him is because the lights in the train went out rendering Jamie fox's character invisible

  • @DanLeirBaG1792 Tom was also "invisible" and ye he was shot.

  • @wintersnoob Man you didnt get the joke, its cause he's black, I mean thats not really why he missed, but I thought I'd throw some humor in there, too bad it was ruined by this explanation

  • @DanLeirBaG1792 LOL, oops my bad.

  • @wintersnoob Yeah, let's just forget that a bullet grazed his FACE. That had nothing to do with it.

  • @wintersnoob

    why?dont like happy end?:D

  • @wintersnoob Me too. Jamie Fox is a huge racist. Pop his ass Tom.

  • @wintersnoob Both dead would be better ending

  • @sephiros8989 True.

  • @wintersnoob They should've both survived because I could not decide who was more sympathetic to me

  • @wintersnoob I really agree, everytime it gets to that part, I wish Tom cruise didn't die. :( Best film ever though. <3

  • @wintersnoob i agree

  • @wintersnoob jamie was the first guy he bonded with in all his murderous ways and he beat him in a random shoot out too. it would have been rude.

  • @wintersnoob Same here... The ending has let me down, making me feel hollow.

  • @wintersnoob dear scientologists, that would spoil this wonderful movie of its entire meaning.

  • @wintersnoob I didn't really want either of them to die... I would have rather Tom not die but then the quote Tom said "how long would it take to notice a dead man on a train" wouldn't have made sense. Just sucks that he was such a bad ass shot in the movie but then when it came down to the end he missed Jamie so many times.

  • @iJustDontGiveAShit The reason he missed is because he always went for 2 shots to the strenum and 1 to the head, just before he dies when he is on his last mag he attempts that same drill, you'll notced that all three were dead accurate but were stopped by the door.

Whereas Max just fired blindly and luckily enough hit him.

  • this is the perfect music for this movie. cruise and foxx are like two of the best actors

  • This movie and song are both amazing. It's the best combination of a song in a movie sequence ever created. They fit so perfectly together.

  • Comment removed

  • just love the music

  • you give for rwanda ? not of course....

    some coyotes in los angeles

girls dancing in a club.... kill others...

  • the scene with the coyotes..

  • Rocky Pirate Radio ,,,,,,,,,, Lay your burden down!

  • Great song, great movie, and great video. I actually like this video better than the official music video for the song, that one's just too creepy for me.

  • Love this song...

  • This film was underrated, but it was let down a little by the ending.

This film with an ending as epic as Heat's would be one of the best films ever.

  • Probably one of the best movies of the last decade. The soundtrack was incredible.

  • cant belive cruise never got an oscar nod for this guy is amazing!!!!!

  • this movie sucked because it ended so typically, the good guy almost shows up at the right spots to save the day and kills the bad guy at the end. Although there were a few good scenes including the way tom cruise died, it was so typical.

  • @vwazp I didn't think it was typical at all. I didn't see it coming, and I loved the irony of the situation - much better than 'typical' films.

  • @vwazp dude thats hollywood, if the bad guy had gotten away with it the movie wouldnt have been allowed to be released otherwise its seen as inciting violence, it sucks but thats just the way it is. atleast the film keeps you thinking jamie foxx might not make in time... or at all, it which is all it can really do.

  • @hmmdusty Yeah this is a great movie but it is a very rare thing were the bad guy ever wins and it's a shame and makes movies too predicable. Without giving away too much though if you ever want to see an ending where a bad guy wins I dont want to spoil it and say too much but watch the movie memento.

  • love this movie...saw it again yesterday...great song choice for the movie too

  • such a great movie, think I'll watch it tonight

  • This movie is a classic. I will always have this movie in my collection.

  • Vincent: You're alive, I saved you. Do I get any thankz?.. No all you could do is shut up. wanna talk? tell me to fuck off?

    Max: (whispering) Fuck off.

  • Uns dos melhores senão o melhor papel interpretado por Tom Cruise

  • Mark Ruffalo is awesome too..

i notice he is a pretty underrated actor too, he has many great movies with great co actors. i give it a few years and he will be all over the scene.

  • Mark Ruffalo is awesome too..

  • now i don't tend to listen to the same song twice but i've pressed replay four times now and am about to again

  • I watched this movie and liked it. Tom Cruise is in it, that's enough reason for me.

  • Just finished watching this.. I picked it up when I was about 12 just because it had Tom Cruise in it.. watched it and I'm not gunna lie I hated it, so dissapointed. A few years later.. I'm 16 and I love amazing movies and can tell great ones apart from the others. This film.. wow.. I regretted paying £15 when it was released on DVD but now I'm glad I got it.

  • Oh yes i love this song cause of this fucking amazing film

Awesome film , soundtrack make's it tho :)

  • <3 this song omg its amazing :)

  • 2:12 "I saved your life...you owe me"

  • 12 people where killed by the bullets and the fall

  • PS Thought it was going to be the oddball wolf scene, nevermind.

  • I don't especially like Tom Cruise or Jamie Foxx. But this was an amazing movie, and both of them were absolutely perfect in their roles. This was just one of many great scenes in that movie. Fucking fantastic job from everyone involved.

  • One of the best bands ever? - Sorry, nowhere near. I like the song but thats it.

  • really underrrated!

  • Amazing film. Also...AUDIOSLAVE FOR THE MOTHERFUCKING WIN!

  • Great song from the film.

  • Yea, Jamie Foxx did a really good job in this. Despite how crazy Cruise might be he's still a good actor to.

  • watched this yesterday awesome scene

  • a little less super assassin and a little more creepy vincent would have made it cult.

club scene was a step too far.

  • @HLecterPHD i thought the movie was perfect. club scene was great

  • Tom Cruise had the makings of a coyote in this flick. A very thick resembelence.

  • The Hound of ill Oman.

    Death comes.

    Life is forever fading.

  • @ 3:35, what does the dog symbolize? i have always wondered why!!

  • @SyrianMuslima I read it wasn't planned, it just appeared

  • @SyrianMuslima

it symbolizes a lone wolf, but of course there are no wolves in the city so they used a coyote instead.

  • @jackncokejr Theres more to it that that. The First Coyote symbolizes Tom Cruises Character who a strong alpha male but a lone wolf. The second one is Jaime Fox who is as Tom, a lone wolf, but one with his head down with unaccomplished hopes and dreams. Beautiful scene

  • @ 3:35, what does the dog symbolize? i have always wondered why!!

  • Great film and movie

  • Sweet story of how Lucifer became the Devil.

  • coyote? i think they are wolves!

  • @Alnilam82 i tho they wer foxes

  • @Alnilam82 lol

  • @Alnilam82 Wolves are much bigger,there coyotes

  • 12 people have been shot by vincent

  • Vincent = Niko Bellic!

  • Chris Cornelle is the mann! Listen to the song what do you think he's talking about! hhhmmmmmmm!

  • Can you relate to the concepts in these lyrics? It seems to me as if he is telling us that all the bad stuff in the world, like how people die alone, go insane...how they feel like they are living without souls..everything undesirable..happens because of the shadows on the sun..the bad parts inside of all of us good people...all the bad mixed with all the good in the world leave us all vulnerable to emptiness and strife.

  • michael mann!!

  • 12 people ran into Tom Cruise

i love this.. one of the best Vids I've seen on YouTube. imo

  • SUCH an excellent film. one of my absolute favorites. great song too :3

  • 1:18 is the best part.

  • "Man gets on an MTA...dies...you think anybody'll notice?"

  • One of my favorite movies...I don't know who audioslave is but I had to find this song cuz itz dope and I always wondered who sang it and what the name of it was.

  • Outstanding job. Bravo!

  • And Vincent Death Scene Pure Gold.

  • This Movie Was So Underrated.

In My Opinion It Was One Of The Best Ever.

I Even Dare To Say This Should Be A Cult Like "Taxi Driver", "The Godfather" And Many Others.

It's Extremely Hard To See A Movie As Great As These Cult This Days.

Good Job Director, Great Soundtrack, And I Believe This Is The Best Character Tom Cruise Ever Made, Jamie Foxx Too.

  • @VICTORHDANTAS you might want to check you definition of a cult classic. Taxi Driver and the Godfather received immediate critical acclaim. Honestly I dont know how you could put the godfather under a cult classic category. Those are movies like Donnie Darko, Scarface (it is trust me, it received mixed reviews upon release), and the rocky horror picture show, this movie received a lot of acclaim upon release, it just wasn't nominated for best picture like it should have been.

  • @tybonerFBO When I Say Cult I Mean The People Still Remember Then.

    Decades After They're Release.

  • @VICTORHDANTAS i understand what you mean but that just isnt what a cult classic is...

  • @VICTORHDANTAS shut up you fucking tool

  • @VICTORHDANTAS cult these days is foriegn

  • @VICTORHDANTAS i think jamie foxs best movie was ray because he did the movie blind and it took them 8 years to complete the movie and it turned out great

  • @fordpride101 Yeah But That's A True Story.

I Mean Jamie Foxx's Best Fictional Character Was Max From Collateral.

  • @VICTORHDANTAS yeah true that. i think him and will smith are some of the best actors today

  • @VICTORHDANTAS hey, i think your fucking right

  • @VICTORHDANTAS

You are so right! It is like everything falls perfectly together in this movie! I love it, and seen it atleast 6 times.

I just have 1 complaint: the last 20 minutes or so is not special or really great about the movie (expect for the VERY last part with Vincent in the metro offcourse).

  • @VICTORHDANTAS how long did it take to capitalize all that?

  • @VICTORHDANTAS Woooot?! So now Academy nominations are just underrating? Lol, stfu please.

  • Cruise and Foxx is a good combination. unusual to watch foxx play a scared taxi driver but even more unusual to see cruise play such a cold hearted role. nothing but respect for cruise, and foxx who played a good supporting role.

  • i like how at the end cruise dies, and you think back to his story earlier on about the man who rode the subway for like 48hours before anyone noticed he was dead..great movie, very underrated

  • I think Cruises expression when Max lays in to him (Carpe Diem scene) about having no soul; the bit about is heart breaking. You can see all throughout the film that Vincent is to be pittied not loathed. Its what makes it so moving at the end I think.

Cruise should have got an Oscar for this one.

  • "Shit happens" that's pretty much how Max kills Vincent. It's kind of a recurring theme.

  • 12 people think miley cyrus' hannah montana was the greatest movie in the world.

  • Ok for all the stuff about Fox putting Cruise down at the end of the movie, let's not forget a couple of points:

a)Cruise had just been in a pretty brutal wreck (cab flipping would absolutely constitute an E ride)

    b)Cruise had also been shot

c)Finally, folks it's a movie. Shut up. Relax. Enjoy a well done movie.

Yeah Cruise is pretty out there in his beliefs, but he pulled off the cold hearted role of Vincent and owned it.

  • @BigOrangePred That is a very fine point because it doesn't matter what cruise does in his personal life, what matters is the quality of the movie and song which is what this video is all about ;)

  • Absolutely sweet bass riffs. Oh, the movie. It's pretty intense too!

  • song is better than the film!

  • Shapes of every size

    Move behind my eyes

    Doors inside my head

    Bolted from within

    Every drop of flame

    Lights a candle in

    Memory of the one

    Who lived inside my skin

  • 11 people were kilt by this hitman

  • the only problem i have with collateral is the end gun fight, your telling me a highly skilled assassin could not hit a person standing less than 10ft in front of him just because the lights went out, now i dont mind that cruise got shot but i think fox should have been shot too mb not as serious as cruises but still. thats the only problem i have with that movie, its a great movie nonetheless

  • @b78venom I know right, they always fuck up the endings, that bitch was dead meat , but NOOOOOOOOOO,,,,, lucky shot. paaaaaleeeezzzzzzzzz..... LOL!!!!!

  • @petete21521 like i think they were trying to say that cruise got shot and thats y he missed him, but still think a highly skilled shooter could have easily gotten at least two or three shots before an amateur.

  • @b78venom At one point Cruise criticizes Fox and tells him to just let go, and Fox, having undergone a gradual change of character does just this, by closing his eyes and firing randomly, whereas Cruise always does the double tap and head shot maneuver (two shots in the chest and one in the head), and attempts to do this on Fox but the train doors close exactly where he would normally shoot (you can see the bullet pattern in the doors). There's a thematic point to it.

  • Anyone that can't get past Tom Cruise's talent has a unfair bias. I maybe disagree with his personal belief system and some other things but he can play almost any role.

  • best film ver

  • Only one word fits the scene were this song starts to play and them coyotes run out on the road like that the word is "magic" and watching special features on the DVD they talk about how that was never planed it just happens that's magic. It takes a great film maker to see that and to know to point the camera at that and then edit that and put it into the movie.

  • This film is unreal

  • @quinner111089 unreal? why u think this is unreal everything of this cud be real. trust me im not lieing.

  • @fardanio I'm pretty sure he was saying in the sense that it was amazing...

  • @adantesuds dude -.- he says this movie is unreal whut u think hes trying to say with it.

  • @fardanio kinda like... OMG THATS SO UNREAL.. when something seems out of this world, and just painstakingly beautiful and amazing.

Just saying ofc it could be real otherwise the actual context of the film wouldnt exist. You're taking his comment of "unreal" too literally.

  • @fardanio By unreal, I mean brilliant
