  • Actually games in the US are $60 and that is a hell of a lot of money. The cheapest brand new game I've ever bought was Deadly Premonition, and that was at $20 BRAND NEW. That is a bargain and it was actually a good game because it had its own uniqueness.

  • and they wander why people pirate games?

  • $50 buck games in the US? Daaaaaaaammmm!

I live in NZ, here, new games cost usually $100+ dollars. If they drop the price to $15-$35 I will be the happiest person ever.

  • If your talking about profit, pricing is tough to choose for a business. In order to maximize profit they have to have it at the highest price their consumers will buy it for. But different businesses have different business models and I think that aside from very mainstream franchises like Call of Duty, Mario, Halo, etc. $60 is only good for when a game just comes out. $40 to me just makes more sense.

  • I don't think video games are overpriced because a new movie costs about $20 and they're 2-3 hours of entertainment but video games are about 10 or more hours long.

  • Games are nearly $100-120 in Australia which is about $125-105 US.

These companies cry about piracy and wonder why people are illegally downloading there games when they are charging an arm and a leg for a game that will only entertain me for 5 hours at most.

  • @DemonAMVs Yea why the hell are us Aussies and Kiwis getting buttfucked when it comes to game prices?? Ps3/360 games in places like Hong Kong/Singapore costs only $40 new releases if converted to aussie dollars

Even Europeans get it cheaper than us. You know new release games in new zealand cost 100-140 just for the standard editions. Special editions can go all the way up to 300

Even games that came out a year ago still cost like $60

And americans complain about there $60 price tags

  • @KoolJayJ Indeed, and then people wonder why piracy is so rampant.

  • Why is console games always more expensive than pc then?

  • They milk 15$/month from players. These games are true milk cows. Reason why I never play a game that has monthly fee.

  • I wonder if they'll get more sales if they were cheaper.

  • @VideoGameExplorers Yes they would because it would be just easier and quicker to but the game then to torrent it.

But then again, you have people like me out there who look at the dollar as a vote, and I do not vote for a game (nor a company) that I feel has been half arsed such as no mod tools, no dedicated servers, is a console to PC port, there is programs on the game stopping me from playing the game because it does not like what is on my PC, and other crap the game companies try to pull.

  • well for 360 you have to burn the games and for PC its absolutely free and up till now the only thing that allows pirating on ps3 is jailbreak and it requires the original game to be copied to your HDD. So i guess a group of 10+ people pay 5 dollars each and switch it between themselves or so. Games are reasonably priced if you look for options

  • wierd beacuse a ps3 game for example costs like 10 usd to make and somehow they cost like 60usd but wierdest thing of them all is that games you download online, like stream or psn are the same price as the actual disc

  • steam is good. right now with christmas everything is like half the price and some games are even 85% less

  • You guys need to go back to business class, obviously the game companies know what the best price is, theyve done the research,

they know almost everyone who wants cod is willing to pay $60, and they will never sell twice as much if they charge only $30 because there is only a certain amount of people that want the game, and they are willing to pay that much,

some lesser known games should be cheaper, but not AAA titles

  • Are you aware that the latest statistics show that the average age of a gamer nowadays is in their early to mid 30's? The younger generation that grew up on games is now gaming as adults, and they make up the larger part of the market, especially the market capable of paying for a game.

Hence, the plethora of M-rated games out there

  • Agree with u, pc game pricing in malaysia is 100 us, thats why we have tthough bootleg or download the game online

  • true everywhere overprice single players, online games that have montly fees 10-15-20 $/month just to play it and some have item mall too ultra expensive that f#ck the game .... and i believe they making milions a year and still overprice like stupd fwck...

  • games that use the engine of another game are overpriced. i simply refuse to buy left 4 dead 2 because it uses the engine of l4d1, which i believe uses the engine of hl2. that makes the game recycled twice.

seriously, people who buy games like that are paying full price for something that took little to no effort to make. its really kinda pathetic. i admire companies like epic games who created the unreal tournament engines - those engines are so powerful and weren't derived from others

  • Game companies need to cover their costs and 50$ seems to be the magic number so it's doubtful games are going to cost less than that unless you are willing to wait for it to end up in the bargain bin for 9.99$. But no one wants to wait to play a game. We all want to play as soon as it come out.

  • Games are too expensive because of- greed. It`s especially bad with consoles. Of course, it`s true, lower prices= sell more games= more profit. But the corporate mentality doesn`t want to go there, and they won`t, as long as people keep mindlessly buying them.

Steam prices might be ok (maybe), but unfortuntely, Steam has many drawbacks as for as independence in gaming goes. And I`m not willing to be collared to Steam just because I must play the next big eye candy game.

  • I was browsing ebgames pc game shelf and I found Mass Effect for 20bucks. I never had an xbox so I never even knew what it was when it first came out.

I had zero expectations from the game because I knew absolutely about it other than it was made by one of the best, Bioware.

One of the best twenty dollar bills I've ever spent in my life.

  • It's funny because the more crappy the games are, the more expensive they are. Stalker was very cheap while MW2 was damn expensive, and Stalker is 1000 times better than MW2.

  • Rodney, I want to introduce you to my friend bit torrent =)

  • Everything is overpriced. That's how people make PROFIT.

  • @TimTehPilot no that's how people lose their head .

  • games do cost alot but you have to think about the time spend to create them

the payment for software engineers the time to design etc

i think the best thing to do is to buy older games which have good price

  • wish games were 50$ here i norway, all of them are 599kr with is around 100$! :(

  • i say game should'nt cost more than 10$, and keeping the price low will encourage people to turn away frm pirated games

  • @babbleentertainment I agree that games should be cheap, but not right off the bat. I bought God of War at retail because I wanted GoW2 and got GoW2 at retail because I wanted GoW3. I do that to support the game developers so they can make more games of that calibur.

Now if you want games cheap, PC games are crazy cheap over time. Steam solves that problem by selling old games dirt cheap.

guildwars trilogy for 20(normally probably 140), torchlight for 10(50), bioshock 2 for 15(60). saved me 200

  • @plasmathunderdx developer like valve sux wheres my half life 2 ep3 :-(

and more than 50% of game playing children look for pirated games in site like pirate bay ur going to see more comment on a game torrent then amazon and ebay combined

  • @plasmathunderdx calibur? LOL. caliber*

  • STEAM FTW

  • Pirate FTW :D

  • In Norway we pay 600 NOK for the newest Xbox 360 games, that is 110 dollars! If you ask me, thats way overpriced, and you only pay 50-60 dollars!? Thats a dream for me!

  • In Norway we pay 600 NOK for the newest games, thats 110 dollars. Overpriced? ALOT!

  • YES THEY ARE!!!!!!! like that world of warcraft £10 a month 12 months a year £120 a year!

  • why does everybody think he's smarter than those huge companies who hire highly paid and educated experts to do the job? if they could actually make more money with lower price than they would already have lowered the price!

  • @Lukaz1989 because by selling a game at a higher price they know if people will like the game or not. if 1,000,000 people buy a game at $100 then they know that people like the game and there people who buy games even if there over priced.

  • i happy that this channel isnt Closed like Efaco5's

  • Great fucking hypothesis in a perfect world. Game developers try to MAXIMIZE their profits. They do not care about any of us. But he question i have for Rodney is this, If you were a CEO or COO of a major game developer would you reduce your price to 30$. I think i know the answer to that one.

  • @dannyphantom783: You just predicted the one and only future of the gaming industry...

  • I think it's sick how much money the game developers lose. Millions of people download games illegally, because they can't afford the games.

  • thtas why my xbox is modded so i get games for 5 bucks : )

  • When Steam had there super holiday sale I bought 5 games for under $50 and that felt pretty amazing lol. I would say that Steam is already accomplishing to give games very cheap and Steam is starting something amazing for gamers. I think console games are the biggest rip off. I saw Left 4 Dead 2 on the 360 for around $85 when you can just get the Valve Complete pack (look on Steam) for only $100.

  • Yeah. I have noticed this a lot since going back to my PC. I find it hard to believe that people are willing to pay so much for games. Steam is doing something great for PC gamers and is making it much more affordable (especially that holiday sale you mentioned). Console games have been suckering people out of money for years and hopefully the price for all games will come down to a reasonable $30 or so WORLD WIDE. (Shifting to a proper price for other currencies as well.)

  • @cyrax1311 oh yeah... those holiday deals got me 15+ games for around 90$

None of the games i bought were bad either, i just bought all the 5$ and below daily holiday deals. That sale was amazing.

  • @cyrax1311 steam is the way to go!~

  • games need to be 30 dollars comeon theres no reason for them to be 60 i remember the days when games were 50 dollars...

  • Ya i wate tell the game has went down in price to buy it for like 20 to 30 vs 49 to 60

  • Look, here in chile, dirt2 is 31.990 in chilean money, equivalent to around 63 dollars

  • i olmost never buy a game that cost over 40 euros and i never buy a game over 50 no mather how many that plays it or how good it is

  • if game companies felt that they could make more money selling the game for less, they would have done it.

  • here in brazil, legit ps3/xbox360 copies are $250,00

for pc, the legit games are $150,00

and of course, you can find cheaper games...

...very shitty and old games lol

  • same here in romania :(

  • Steam games prices are awesome

  • @phoenix1333 some are overpriced tho

  • @phoenix1333 agreed in one year prly bought 20-30 games on steam and very few of them were more than 10 dollars.

  • I agree, games are overpriced. A bran new game can cost anything up to £50 across all platforms. Although pc games tend to be a bit cheaper, than ps3 and xbox 360 games. Having said that it would be nice to go to a store and pick up a game for around £20 bran new. I tend to use sites like play(dot)com, they usualy do a better price. Or better yet, wait 6 months and pick it up for next to nothing.

  • thats why i mostly buy a game of a year old so i can get it for 35€ or even 20€ i bought stalker soc for 5 € and it was perfectly new

  • i like to do that too...i only got COD Modern Warfare 1 last year!

game prices really do change quite rapidly though

think about CODMW2. it was released a few months ago. now it stands at around £10 less than it was on release!

  • @GoldenbanjoDJ remember one thing cod games and bf games don't drop so fast in price because it is a multyplayer game singleplayer games like fallout drop a lot faster in price

  • COD has still dropped by quite alot though

  • but thats probably cod 6 and it isn't that good (i'm talking abouth the pc version) because it is a huge backstab to pc gamers whitout decadet server there arn't any real clans so it isn't for real gamers more the casual ones the singlemplayer is good but the mp isn't so good as it used to be on the pc game

  • do you think dedicated servers will be created?

  • @GoldenbanjoDJ never in mw2

  • ya man it took for ever form mwf 2 to drop to 29 us

  • this is why i got demonoid account^_^,.. so i can rock and roll whenever new games are on the market^_^,

  • its rly a joke that all games cost 50$ for u :D it showing how stupid is america

  • lol not as stupid at UK! i'd love to live in america - everything is so cheap

  • You're an idiot.

  • how

  • long live cracks and torrents... ^_^

  • but you have to give props to the person who bought the game with their own money and uploaded it :D. and also props to the people who crack it :D

  • atleast lower it down to 40$ thats not that bad

  • That wouldn't make too much of a difference.

  • I totally agree with you.

But how about how most of these games (ps3,xbox360& wii) are totally NOT worth the money. They should cost between $15.99-$29.99 based on the quality of the game.

  • i sick of paying $110 NZD for a ps3 game when a few years ago i could get a ps2 for $30 NZD.

i would of coasted the company $5-$10 dollars to make the game so why sell it 10 times more.

  • games in trinidad can go up to $600+tt ($100 us) and bootlegs pc games $50tt (less than $10us).

  • its funny that the game companies are wondering why they are losing business when they charge $60 for a game and some even have $15 a month a long with it who wants to pay that much for something that costs like less than a dollar to make

  • console games here in gibraltar are like £40 ($80) and pc games about £20-£30. Call of duty 4 is still £44.99! (84 bucks)

  • your still luck game in australia start at $89 and the better games like call of duty modern warefare2 will cost $129 aussie dollars thats 66 pounds :( it annoying coz im not buying as many game as i would if they were cheaper

  • this is why i changed to pc gaming the games are way better priced.

  • Companies charge these prices because they know people will pay it. I don't need a game bad enough to spend $60.00. I could use that money for bills. I can wait a year or two for the game to drop price.

  • That's what torrents are for!! lolz

  • @freddieman23 Torrents are also the reason games are overpriced. It's because nobody wanted to buy them when they WERE reasonably priced, so they download them stimulating the companies to increase costs, meaning more downloads and this whole thing spiraling out of control. Sorry to be rainman, but that's the truth.

  • im actually going to buy a pc ;)

  • in canada, new console games come out as 69.99,now thats 75$ with tax,,i have over 15 games, 15 x lets say 59.99$. thats

899.84$,thats a price of 3 xbox 360s.and this is amount for 2 years, if they droped it to 20 to 30,,more consoles will be sold, and more games. dammet i am sick of spending my money one games,no more

  • the reason im so tired of spending 60 bucks on a game is because they last me about a week then i get bored. gaming companies need to make fewer shitty games that just cost them money and take longer to make actual quality games that cost less but are fewer and far between. look at companies like valve and blizzard, they have very few games compared to other companies their size yet theyre still regarded as some of the top developers in the industry.

  • This is what happened to Pioneer (the electronics company). Selling their Kuro line of Plasmas at premium prices... now they've stopped producing TVs because they're dangerously close to bankruptcy (i believe).

Bet that wouldn't have happened if they sold their TVs for even 1.5k lower (from 6k to 4.5k)

  • console games are overpriced. PC games aren't $60 and have the same if not more content. Comparing them to movies doesn't work as most movies use much larger budgets but only cost $10 or $20 to view or own, respectively.

High prices reduce sales as many people can only afford one new game for long periods of time. Luckily there are other more affordable routes to take in acquiring games.

  • It's not worth buying new games for $100 AUD and then finishing the game within two days, when it could be downloaded free. If game vendors priced their games lower, everyone would ditch the pirated game versions and buy the original thing because it is more affordable. And if it is more affordable, vendors would make more profits and cut down on pirated games.

  • Ok, games are definately NOT overpriced! Its simple how I can say that! A movie at the theatre can cost you lets just say $10. And most people dont complain about that. That $10 only lasts about 2 hours... Now a game, costing AT MOST $60, lasts way more than 12 hours! People can play that much easily in a week. So once that week is over, the game at that point is completely worth it. Stop thinking about the game in general, but how often and how long you will be playing it!

  • well i dont think people go to theater that much, and its not just 10$,popcorn and drinks will cost you about 12$,plus transportation,i take the bus so thats 1.75 x 2. so in total that will be 25.50$,

  • lucky! i have to pay $60 or more for the 360 and $40-$50 on pc games.

  • I also agree - I only recently got...into PC hardware and building PC's(I'm lovin it so far) and PC games anyways should be quite cheap because of the cost of hardware and software that you need to play the new PC games, what's that thing called 'direct2drive' or something? where you download games to your hard/solid state drive.

Even consoles should have something like that, cheaper for everyone.

  • totally agree. thats why i hven't got the xbox or playstation i mean its ok buying the consoles but almost 35 pounds for a game. thats too much. i have better things to do.

  • The trick is refineries! Refineries refineries refineries!

  • bank robbery, arms sales in Uganda, drug trafficking via the Khyber pass. The usual I suppose

  • However, downloadable games are definately a better solution, which is why developers are starting to do it more often.

  • Of course there are a TON of other variables involved that prevent the reduction of game prices. People simply don't understand what goes into game development. If it were as simple as "Make cheaper, bigger profits." Developers would have done this long ago. They are after all, fairly intelligent people.

  • If only this were possible. At a $50 dollar price tag, after hard copy production, product packaging, game manuals, and distribution, a developer gets between a $5 and $15 return for a large distribution. If games were priced between $20 and $35, a developers would get a $0 return.

  • i picked up the supcom gold pack for $19 AUD while they were selling the seperate games at $25 and $27 respectively. they said they had more stock on the gold pack than the seperate games. which makes sense.

and i have to vouch for that UT3 steam sale comment because it really did happen, specifically to a friend who had brought UT3 on steam even after buying it retail and sending it back because he didn't like it.

  • this is why i am very strategic when buying games

  • Spot on! Games are TOO expensive.

  • UT3 Steam Sale, 2000% Player Increase. See it really works :)

  • That's what I thought when I seen a previously used title for sale at movie gallerie. The title was Fable 2 limited edition and it was tagged for 95.00!

  • so true!

  • hahaha very nice...you hit it rod....

  • I'm in college for Game Development now, one of my goals upon graduating and getting some money as a programmer, is to start an indie gaming company; running on a similar concept of what Cheap ass games did for board games, sell games cheaper, and overwhelmingly take over the market share.

The only high quality games with a reasonable price tag are games like audio surf... but I'd like to see games with more meat, and less nostalgia to come out in that price range.

  • What happened to your beard man? Grow it back!

  • its march bro; the manuary beard is out. Only a few more months, and we can get back into the season starting with our septembeards.

  • and less downloading ;)

  • hahaha

  • simple its called marketing...

  • It's commented before, but I gotta throw it in anyway: Companies like VALVe (Steam) really know how to price their games. As all their games are sold (and ran) through Steam (and quite a few other companies as well), they can and have sold "game packs" where the price is less than HALF of what you would buy for all the games together. Just like the Orange Box or the "Complete VALVe pack". <3

  • steam had 50% off on Left 4 Dead, and give their sales increased by 3000%. But 25 dollars should of been the price for the first place.

  • Exactly. Lower the prices and more people will buy. Go figure! LOL

  • Agree! The Orange Box by Valve is a splended example of this politic. :p

  • Assuming the guys who get pirate copies will buy it if the price fall and the guys who actually buys it will buy more games from that company? hahaha Yes, games are overpriced but they won't cut the prices because they are saving money with the materials and a regular user will play 2 o 3 games tops... they won't be playing any game that comes out because it is cheaper and hackers won't hesitate to unlock a game because it is cheap... =)

  • Yes, cheaper games would mean LESS PIRACY!!! for pc gamers and would probably discourage companies like EA using very unpopular securities such as secur-rom. Also for console games, you can still return them for a price but it is too expensive in general, 60 dollars? and pc tends to be around $50 but cannot be returned. Valve prices their games reasonably at 10-30 at the most.

  • yea so true..if they'd only cost about 15-30 $ the ammount of piracy will also drastically decrease. If i'd only have to pay 15$ for a brand new game, I wouldn't bother downloading gigabytes of games!

  • I rather spend all the money on hardware than on games.

  • rofl so true

  • You opinon is awsome and totally correct in my opinion.

  • fuck yeah

  • with devises exchange rates, I went from 60 to 70 euros for brand new games, to 25-40 € buying them in england

also you can still buy on ebay, or used games, it's not so expensive then to play, you can sell the game when you are finished and finally you just "lost" 10€ or less

  • You are right, 50 € for games is way too high (not to mention console games which usually cost around 60-75€ here. 75 € = 100 usd!!) I think the most ideal price would be around 20 €. Maybe 25-30 € for new games and then 15-20 € after a few months. I often just wait until the price drops. But some people just can't/don't wanna wait - If they lowered the prices it would lower the piracy, especially in the not-so-rich countries.

  • Yes, I've been saying the same thing for years, since I got into games ~10 years ago.

Back then they were about 50 Dutch Guilders.

What are those? I believe 2.50 Guilders was needed to get 1 US Dollar.

Today PC-games are 50-60 EUROS here.

Which converts to ~60-75 US DOLLARS.

It's indeed ridiculous, however, I do not start piracy for that.

I used to copy and download games when I didn't know better.

But I support the creators, so I either find a cheaper store or wait until they are affordable.

  • Completely agree with you on this. When L4D was 50% off it out sold it's launch day sales numbers. All these companies cry about piracy, sell a game at $25-30 and they would've cut down a lot on piracy.

  • MMORPG are WAY overpriced for the damn monthly cost. Yes i know all the updates and servers cost a lot but expansions should be no more than 20 and montly subscription should be no more than 10.

  • A monthly fee is a ridiculous ripoff anyway.

Look at other games, they need maintenance for servers and such things.

What are these RPG-geeks doing making people addicted and making them pay monthly?

Wake up man, they're ripping you off!

  • Some games do really worth the price and some are not. But generally speaking, the price do seems a bit expensive.

  • Games are def overpriced in Australia - but I've been having more success buying them from overseas Ebay stores - just means I have to wait longer for delivery

  • Games for PCs aren't as expencive as the one for consoles. Why is this?

  • Console game publishers have to pay a licensing fee to the console maker.

  • All the piracy on PC.

  • Yeah, it's been always like that, sometimes really huge differences.

But PC is actually going UP too, as in my other post, some are up to 60 Euros, some even hit 70 or 75 Euros like their console-counterparts.

For example 'GTA IV' on PS3 and 360 vary from 50 to 70 Euros.

    The PC-version from 40 actually, to 60.

So they're hanging around the same level mostly.

You'll have to look hard to get a "good deal" such as 40 Euros, which is still 50 Dollars.

  • By the way, I wouldn't pay 40 Euros / 50 Dollars.

I'd like to have that title and I'll wait until it's down to 30-35 Euros, only if it's very soon as it's still rather new, at least for PC.

But I already know it won't really hit that price in a half to a whole year.

So I'll have to use the combination of waiting for price-drops and reasonable sellers.

If I want it soon enough that is.

Cause I actually recently bought 'GTA 1' for about a Euro or two. XD

  • I feel that some games are very much worth the money, and that some are not. Being an educated consumer is more important then the price of the product. If you buy a game with lousy reviews, you have no right to complain about the price. That's my two cents.

  • i think some games with moderate reviews are worth more than some more heavily hyped (high review score) games too. A multiplayer rts i will play for a year or more is worth 50$ to me (pc)...while some single player games i will have a blast for 8-16 hours i would probably willing to pay less for, regardless of the reviews it got.

  • lols nice one man

  • games prices are ridiculous, plain and simple.

  • i don't think he has much information behind the views he's saying. how does he know how much profit can be had from $30 games, or whether 12-25 is the target audience across the board.

  • WTF does he mean buying new games get world of warcraft and all you need to buy is expansions

  • I don't mind paying $50 for a good PC game that's going to have a lot of replay value.

  • most new games cost $70 anyways. at that price replay value is a must.

  • Well most new Xbox 360 games are $60, new PC games are usually $50 (USA prices).

  • what games do you get? the only $70 games i've seen are collector's editions of next-gen console games, which also all have regular editions for $60.

  • Well its kind of strange what you say in your video.

I would have to say game companies are targeting a young audience with no real expenses. Ie people who work a part time job and live at home and thus if they make 500$/month, its enough to buy a few games and not suffer financially.

If you were on your own, 500$ /month would be impossible to survive on and thus games would not even be something you would consider.

That being said even the rich would like to have cheaper video games :D

  • very enthusiastic lol.

    WarrenH

  • I fully agree with rodney on this one. Games are too expensive. IF they would make them cheaper they would sell more games. And i guess there would be less piracy if games were cheaper.

  • i agree with you

  • just wait for the price of the game to drop lol. It won't stay at $50 forever. The downside is you have to wait for it to become cheaper

  • Damn right Rodney, you tell 'em how it is. If games only cost ten to twenty quid, I'd buy them lol

  • The piracy will never stop folks.

  • i do agree that they are a little expensive, though if you think about it, an extra $10 that we have to pay isn't really that much. but when 1 million people pay that $10 it really adds up for the company.

i really think things like MMO RPG's are very overpriced though, LotR online for a life time subscription is about $250 (which is in fact more then an xbox). guild wars had it right with the no monthly costs, but i personally do not like the game.

  • GREEDY COMPANIES = SELL SALES!

  • I also think games are overpriced, and as a 15 year old in full time education, I don't have time to get a job to pay for games. As a result, I pirate most of my games but if I see one in store at a low price, I'll buy it regardless of wether I've pirated it or not, such as The Orange Box which I picked up today for £15

  • Exactly. Sell many more games at a lower price or sell fewer games at a higher price. Which one makes more sense? Doh! Some game companies are getting it, but most aren't :( Go figure!

  • Game companies like most companies are idiots!

  • ye but who pay for their game pc´s ?

  • All hail the pirate bay!

  • PREACH THE WORD BROTHA GAME MAN!!!! PREACH OOOOOONNN!!!! lol ehem i agree. i woul deffinitely buy more games if they were priced around there. thats why i only buy used older games. unless im buying for pc then i go to newegg.

  • Games are overpriced indeed. Case in point: GTA4. If I was, shall we say, a little stupid, I would have bought the game, and then realized that it ran like crap on every computer. Fortunately, I didn't waste what is equivalent of 59 dollars on this particular broken game. No, I downloaded it. I would buy it if it worked.

  • I agree, i am a gamer and i love those new games, but i will not spend 40, sometimes 50, euro's for them. That just doesn't add up. 50 euro's for a videogame! I hope the companies are listening.

  • It never ceses to amaze me the lenghts fanboys of a particual brand or form of entertainment will go to justify their expensive hobby. Rodney is right. In just about everything today the prices are outrageious. A lot of that is due to the economy, but a lot is due to just pure greed (which in trun also effects the economy). Better games are naturally at a higher preminum. But, how namy of us have spent good money on regretable games?

  • wats it worth it to buy a game and pay 30 or 50 buck? you can download them for free

  • This video blows, Rodney doesn't understand that game companies look into the best price/profit ratio... so they would in turn lose money by selling it cheaper, not more.
