in the soul of the drumming. That is the basis ..of the flow of our ancestors spirit in our music. New music created from ancestral music should maintain its integrity. Assimilation of other ..cultures into Garifuna music must be carefully ..taken. Incorporating other music styles into ..punta taken too far no longer makes it punta.
