Shouldn't the English Heritage organization be contacted if one discovers an ancient menhir even on private property? I should think they would have a screaming cow if someone moved a stone this way! Can anyone confirm this?
@KT319 lol Yes, I forgot to suspend disbelief. However, if they had actually brought in a cluster of experts, this could have been a far more complex storyline.
Wonderful stuff, this ghostly 70s Brit TV stuff, only wish these had been video instead of film. For spooky stories, I think videotaped sets are much more atmospheric than filmed locations, gives it just the right otherworldly touch. I realize it was for budget limitations mostly, but there was an unforeseen bonus. I'll still watch the filmed one, but nothing beats the intimate and cozy studio setting.
Saw this when I was five. Scared the crap out of me.
Stayed in my mind for years, never knew what program it was, or if maybe Id even imagined it, but nope, this is it. Not quite so scary now, but still a great bit of creepy nostalgia.

@Evilmokeynomnom Yes, I'm sure they would have a cow. However this is only a drama.

@MrBlackpooler I mean the lack of technology, the emphasis on nature, the fashions.
