@bigwaverider1000 interesting argument. but, hearts? since when is heart a factor in big cat fights? jaguars aren't afraid of anything because they have no natural predator. lions on the other hand have hyenas baboons vultures other lions elephants buffalo rhinos hippos crocodiles... if you've seen any tiger vs lion fights you see that lions suck at fighting, and often run away from a challenge. jaguars do not as seen from their fights with anacondas.

@shadowsangheili yes I do agree with you but in reality its more of a 50/50 fight because non of them have iron throats so its just who ever gets there first & there are only a few not more than ten videos floating around of lion vs tiger and only one goes to death with the lion winning but example if i knock out a indian guy i cant make a title on youtube & say hawaiians always knocks out indians for lions and tigers are just the same as every species its more of individual than breed persay

@bigwaverider1000 Jaguars are the hallmark of a perfect cat (as a tiger, they are really close cousins) Jaguars have insane reflexes that's how they conquer crocs and snakes. there would be no way a lion could get a hold of a jaguars throat. I've seen one video of a Jaguar biting a hold of a anaconda's mouth after striking. that means they also have really good coordination which means a jaguar would probably end up biting the lion's paw or something. Jaguars dont fight like tigers er lions.

@shadowsangheili sorry buddie but you cant make assumptions of a lion not being able to grab a jaguars throat the male lion does that to every animal he puts down so a few bites and scratches hear n there from a jaguar wont discourage a male lion to not go in for the kill his weight alone will be able to flip a jaguar to his back both have speed and power but the male lion over takes prides yearly and dives into hyena packs and win to whos bite power is harder than lions and jaguars

@bigwaverider1000 um no, not even crocodiles and anacondas can get a good bite on jaguars. when fighting other big cats Lions dont use their mouth, but their paws. as if they're fighting for land or mating rights. but much like they're larger cousins the tiger they would be able to dodge most of the lions blows. And lions can't run into a group of lions and win, Confidence makes lions nervous as seen in a video when a leopard was walking right next to a pride of lions and the pride looked away.

@shadowsangheili plus a kurdish lion or asiatic lion would kill a jaguar and a african lion who is double there size and power would demolish a jaguar crocidiles grow 4x bigger then them & bite 4 x harder only tigers & male lions have been reported killing crocs the videos of jaguars are of caimans who are same size of jaguars crocs grow largest to 23 to 26 feet and the lions or tigers who do kill them are very lucky and outsmart them with speed and jump on there backs and bite there skulls

@bigwaverider1000 what? hyenas kill lions all the time, lions do not go into a pack of hyena and take out 6. that is highly unlikely. what was shown in tiger vs lion fights that has anything to do with your side of the arguement? Tigers beat lions almost all of the time and leopards are not a good example of what a jaguar can do, they hunt, fight, kill, and act different. they just look similiar.

@bigwaverider1000 driving off and beating are 2 different things. 1 single lion did not beat the 3, he just scared them away. jaguars are too fast for the lion to get a hold on the jaguar. and yes i know but caimens are like miniature crocs, having the same power pound for pound. and dont compare buffalos and jaguars in fights, buffalo are big, slow, and not very agile. jaguars on the other hand are quick, powerful, have fast reactions. and BONE CRUSHING bites

I've been watching big cat documentaries all of my life and i know what the typical lion is like. fierce but will run away from a challenge. and jaguars would not run, i doubt either of them would die but the lion would run making the jaguar the winner...... at that moment. lions are not going to injure themselves over 1 fight. case closed no more arguing if you cant agree with this no hope for you

I'm saying jaguars are the most (besides its cousin the tiger) fearless big cat and wouldn't coward away from a fight. and lions are known to run away at sight of a challenge; rarely fighting to the death. there's a video of a lion (3 females) injuring a leopard, but not being able to kill cuz he was putting too much fight 2 b worth it. if the jaguar got its jaws on a lion it would be bad, very, very bad. nd lion would run and game over.
