@bassfishMN usually if i have one the day after if fish arent pulled off cover..ill head shallow reason being is sunlight obviiusly the heat. i won my recemnt tournament doing this where a day earlier a front drop air temp 15 degrees..i headed shallow caught my limit flippin by 7:15 that morning!

@bassallyear even up here in minnesota it seems like the fish bite best shallow after a cold front.. mostly skippin docks or in the reeds. you ever skip docks?

@Bbfishman if i was in florida.....coming to canada...id fish for sturgeon.... pike or salmon... would never waste my time on bass in canada if i was from florida ... not worth it for you. better odds to catching a monster there then here... and u might be a lil lost here compared to bass fishing in florida .i fish open water here in minus 25 c ur reels line and rings freeze up in seconds....a real challenge! most ppl cant even stay outside its about 3 times colder then the average freezer+wind

@justfishingjustin yeah i can imagine how intense the cold must be. I'm from New York so im familiar with some cold weather and snow/ice and all that...just not quite on the level that you guys experience it. I'd be able to handle it. I have a house upstate near Vermont/New York border and we go Snowmobiling in the winter and ride quads/dirtbikes in the summer so im pretty familiar with the outdoors and being in the woods. Canada has always fascinated me for the fact its so untouched
