Quick question for you betta experts, is $30 a lot for a betta? There's a black short-tail halfmoon (plakat?) and somef red halfmoons at my local fish store selling for $30. The black one's jet black with just a smudge of white on the ends of the front fins (or whatever they're called, sorry I'm still new to this) and the reds are well... red. There's also a blue halfmoon but its fins are kinda torn and there was barely enough water in there... Well anyway, are they worth it? Thanx in advance :3

@MrChannelisland Wow, you can't even fit one piranha in there. You need at least 50G for piranhas, they grow to be 12 inches long-imagine having three of those! The smallest tank size for the smallest piranhas is a 20G with a few wimple piranhas. They grow to 4in. Good Luck :)

You say there at your blog that you are going to add more branches and plants. For a Betta tank thats best and it looks better even though you like the more minimalist look the best. I swear Dude, someone could give you a plastic box, clump of weeds, and a couple of rocks and you'd make it look like a piece of art!
