Can I ask what's the title of this video series? I know this is an instructional video from IKO2 (Kenji Midori). I have to agree that this video gives better instruction not only because it is in English but also because IKO2 has a better execution of kata. Compare IKO1 Taikyoku Sono Ichi to IKO2's. I'm from IKO1 but IKO2 really does a good job.
i saw an american guy doing Uraken-Hizo-uchi and he was hitting at groin level...and he had a black belt..0.0 why? i suggest you take your belt off and wear a white belt cause thats a mistake only a amature would make! and no hip rotation just bugs the crap out of me...
i lvoe watching the japanese doing kyokushin, alot of westerners fail to use the punches are proper level, and they dont use the hips when they punch, so study this video please all you idiots who dont use your hips...hip movement is bread and butter...fix your damn mistakes
Yeah and the fact that WKO thinks to put in english voice overs and subtitles helps alot, it shows that they want to share with the world. Matsui's videos seemlike they're only made for theJapanese.
hmm well there are videos from matsui where its been translated in english as well, if u search for it u will eventually find them somewhere here on youtube but it seems the performers in there are not showing their best. For example i see kazumi hajime doing a lot of kata but he doesnt show all that he's got cause he is much better then that. Its like they are thinking if u wanna learn good karate then join a dojo instead learning from video hahaha
these are from the old 2 volume VHS release. The updated and expanded 3 volume DVD release is called "Shin Kyokushin Kai Kyosoku" and it is available in several places (google the name) .

@ryanmvillarosa Sorry for the late reply.
The DVD serie is called "Shin Kyokushin Kai Kyosoku" and comes in 3 volumes.
Volume 1 is kihon, and volume 2&3 are kata.
It is a slight updated version of the old VHS version this clip is from -most of it is the same, just a few polishing touches and corrections.
Best place to find it is CDJapan (google it)
