  • the peanut butter balls came out all right...but when i tried to melt the chocolate it got really thick and i even tried mixing butter in the chocolate, oh and btw i was using nestle's toll house milk chocolate morsels

  • @mooshebaba Use shortening or oil to thin the chocolate

  • why you are puting wax O-o that is edible?

  • @slaptagerbeja I go into great detail about this in the description box, read it.

  • is the frosting sugar powered sugar?

  • @curvy71 Yes, same thing

  • @yoyomax12 thanks for telling me

  • i got here when i searched for "butter balls"

  • thanks for the caption under the joke! I can hear the joke now!

  • lol balls...

  • Just to let you know, in the UK, caster sugar is not the same as icing sugar... :)

  • @iweargreenwellies and in Canada, powder sugar is not the same as icing neither!

  • Sooo good. I just made these, so simple and delicious. I made some plain(just chocolate), rolled some in crushed cashews (AMAZING), and some in skor bits(toffee bits) which also came out excellent. Lastly, i rolled some in nerds for the kids :) Thanks for sharing the recipe! xo!

  • can i use corn flakes cause thats all we have in the house

  • @puckelberry1 Yes, but I would crush them so that they were small crumb pieces

  • @yoyomax12 thank you so much love our videos p.s my favourite one is your cookie monster cupcakes

  • This recipe looks great! I really enjoyed the joke of the day! That young man is a natural! :-D

  • can you di it whitout any rice crispys?

  • This was very helpful. A friend told me how to make peanut balls but the video helped a lot, especially the chocolate bit.

  • Instead of white chocolate you can also use crushed peanuts.

  • how many peanut butter balls does this recipe make?

  • Could you put frosted flakes in for the rice krispies ? I'm just wondering cause its all I have ...

  • @emsara101 yes, but crush them a bit to make the pieces smaller

  • @yoyomax12 i had a wierd thought. cheerios! &_&

  • Could you omit the 1/2 cup of butter, or is it needed for the recipe to work ?

  • @emsara101 the butter helps keep the mixture together, if you wanted to leave it out, increase the peanut butter

  • @yoyomax12 Ok thanks :)

  • can you skip the cereals?

  • @almantaite I don't think so. The Rice Krispies Make the taste better!!

  • @almantaite You could leave it out, the balls will be a bit softer though

  • what is that unedible waz for??my God such a turn off

  • @romanova311 Waz? unedible? huh?

  • when it shows all of them after they have gone in the fridge, they look like meatballs!

  • I make this every year for christmas. Thank you for posting...

  • hmmm....i don't think castor sugar=icing sugar......

  • @khyl2 It is "caster" sugar, it is superfine sugar, not powdery but an equivalent

  • yum

  • Can you melt a chocolate candy bar and use that instead of paraffin and chocolate chips?

  • You should make almond roca! :) it is the BEST!

  • I LOVE YOUTUBE!!

  • I made these a few months back after watching this video. I had to make them, I loved them. It made so many, we had to give some away and the remainder we had, we ate on for a few days. Thanks for the recipe.

  • @lvick3 Happy you enjoyed them! They are a huge favourite at xmas time around here

  • Idk why, but your skin and voice reminds me a lot of a lunchlady who works at the middle school I go to. o.O A couple months ago, I thought you two were the same person. I'm still not sure now..

  • @babyboogalicious Nope, definitely not your lunch lady :)

  • Looks delicious! And the little boy at the end is sooo cute :)

  • @yoyodita Thank-you!

  • what is the name of the piano song being played here? it sounds so beautiful!

  • @mrgutchman It a song by Audionautix (You Tube name), it's been a while since I made this video, so I don't remember the name of it, sorry

  • I have been making these for many years, and use graham cracker crumbs instead of cereal. You can also make them into bars by just pressing the mixture into a pan and pouring the chocolate over the top. You then refridgerate for 20 mins only to set- too long and the chocolate will crack. This is just as good in taste, but much quicker.

  • @Jeanne4292 I like the idea of making bars with this recipe, thanks for the information :)

  • would chocolate rice crispies work??

  • @hihihi101694 yes!

  • @yoyomax12 Could the be used instead of being dipped in chocolate to still get the chocolate flavor?

  • hey! thank you for uploading the video but i don't have the wax! what else could i use? like canola oil or something???? thank you!

  • @uk1n1mc please read the description

  • those are REAL peanut butter balls ;D

  • @xcutecupcakelala Thanks! :)

  • how many do they make?

  • @spartanrc14 Depending on how big they are, about 2 dozen

  • Hello. So when you add the cereal, i was wondering, do you even need the cereal?

  • @JasonMisterDude You could leave out the cereal

  • @yoyomax12 Sweet! Good to know. Thanks!

  • hi, can i just melt a milk chocolate bar instead of chocolate chips? i just cant seem to find any where i live :D

  • can i use normal sugar?

  • @spartanrc14 It may be a bit grainy with regular sugar

  • Where can i get paraffin wax? Thanks for the video btw ^^

  • @BlackXxParade In my grocery store, they keep the paraffin with the baking stuff (usually next to the canning supplies like Certo). They also will have it at craft stores too I think.

  • I truly find your videos useful, I love them! Keep making more unique ideas <3

  • @Daisyluvzu Thanks very much!

  • I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS

  • @DJ2late1 Thanks! :)

  • CAN I SKIP THE CEREAL

  • @DJ2late1 Yes you can leave it out or replace it with graham wafer crumbs or cookie crumbs

  • We make these in our family and call them yum yum balls! :)

  • @sparklicupcake Makes sense, they are yummy :)

  • do i have to use that wax stuff?

  • @i3eckyy Did you watch the video and read the description? Seriously.

  • im to cheap to afford chocolate so can we skip that? will it taste good still?

  • @TheCoconut1996 They will taste like sweet crunchy peanut butter.

  • can we put regular sugar

  • @DJ2late1 yes, but they may not be as smooth and might be a bit grainy

  • @yoyomax12 can we skip the rice crisps?

  • can you skip the 1/2 cup of butter?!

  • @iluvvmusic101 Yes you could

  • i live in Ireland and i rele wanna make these for my mum but im pretty sure theres no suh thing a parifin wax in my local gorery store can i use anything else?? also can u ake more cup cake decorating videos??

  • @yoyomax12 Ok thanks and Yaay I luv the cherry pie cup cake!!!

  • i live in Ireland and i rele wanna make these for my mum but im pretty sure theres no suh thing a parifin wax in my local gorery store can i use anything else??

  • they called buckeyes

  • @longtrenton They aren't called that here in Canada because we don't have the trees that make the real buckeyes

  • if you do it with a hand held mixer will it effect it?

  • @magicstar128 No, an electric mixer will be fine

  • I Under stood NOTHING The kid said at the End..

  • @Irealyhavetopee That is why I WROTE it out so you could read it.

  • My Mom makes these too. They are delicious. I am going to ask her to make some tomorrow.

  • @x27Apex These are one of my most favourite desserts ever!

  • God I hate you. That's like EVERYTHING that I can't eat because of my diet crushed into a ball. :) Still wish I could eat it though.

  • @Catahasbun They say diet is "die" with a "T" lol!

  • These were a big hit this Christmas and I had a hard time finding the was also....so I just used the chocolate bark (melting chocolate) and it worked great..;o) thank you so much for posting this video..

  • @xPrincessSophiax Glad they worked out for you!

  • will they work without wax? i cant seem to find any.

  • @MyJKProductions see description box

  • Thanks for posting this! I had lost my recipe for this and wanted to make them this year. I just would make sure, if you are making these for anyone other than your kiddos or hubby, that you wear food prep gloves when mixing them by hand.

  • @sisterKristin I make these for family and friends and don't wear food prep gloves, I just wash my hands well.

    I haven't killed anyone yet! :)

  • @sisterKristin You actually should never use gloves when handling food because you tend to touch other things with the gloves plus you have no idea where those gloves have come from. Trust me I have had to cross out a lot of buffet restaurants because they use gloves. The best method is to always wash your hands before handling food and then re-washing when your done.

  • Do you have to use parawax or can you leave it out altogether...

  • @CornyCow04 read description

  • These are delicious and very easy & fun to make. We use crushed up Vanilla Wafers instead of cereal. Yummy!!

  • I made these today. I must say I was hesitant about the wax, but I used it and they turned out great! Great recipe. The only thing I did different is I used toothpicks instead of a slotted spoon to dip.

  • @mizzbibbles Toothpicks are a great idea, probably better than a slotted spoon. I now use a candy dipping tool that is like a fork but with only two tines. I have not killed anyone with the wax so far, lol!

  • Could you make these into pops as well? Put them on a stick like the cookie pops?

  • @nkr1695 They might break in half when you push the sucker stick into them as the dough is kind of crumbly, but it would be worth a try.

  • hey! i tried making these but my mix didnt form a doe, it stayed penut butter like.

    what do i do?

  • @brian9001 If it is too sticky add some more cereal or chill the dough in the fridge for a couple of hours. That should help make it more workable.

  • These look so delicious. Could I make them without the cereal?

  • @MissWynne100 Yes you could

  • @yoyomax12 Thank you, I loved the joke of the day too!!!!

  • These look so good!! I love the idea of the crispy cereal in them :) I'm going to try these soon.

I bake A LOT but I don't do too much candy making. I've used paraffin before in Chocolate Pecan Caramels but for some reason it left white streaky lines in the warm melted chocolate and they were even more pronounced when the chocolate set. I can't figure out why. Unless some paraffin wax brands are not as good as others.

  • @riknarf hmm...I've used paraffin many times and have never that the streaky wax issues. I have no clue why this happened.

  • i made that in school like years ago and they were so good i forgot how to make them thank you man its just in time for christmas too yay!!!!!!!!

  • these are my fav! used to make them as a kid for all my friends on xmas .! everyone always was asking for them! except i think we used crushed up graham crackers!!! I have to make these this year to pass down to my kids. And the wax thing u dont even know its there till someone tells you and it makes them so nice and shiny.! we would use tooth picks to dip them ! great vid! :)

  • Where can you buy paraffin wax for cooking?

  • @MusicalOxygen I buy mine at the grocery store in the baking aisle.

  • i have to make the same thing but all i use is powder suger, peanut butter and chocolate

  • @contryvamp88 Yours sound good too!

  • These look great! I'm gonna give them a shot at home, thank you very much for sharing your recipe!

  • @masgrandeish You are welcome, thanks for stopping by.

  • I for one, think the wax idea is BRILLIANT! Everybody just needs to take a chill pill. It's WAX....you didn't say put poop in the recipe. I'll bet there are several recipes that people have eaten with wax in them....they just didn't know it. LOL people are so silly sometimes. I made these for the first time today. They came out all shiney, beautiful and most importantly delicious! I am going to make these a Christmas tradition around my house. Thank you for sharing with the rest of us.

  • @makayla999 This is one of the most reasonable and funny comments I've received in a good long time!!

Thanks so much for taking the time to write it and to let me know you tried these. :)

  • You were NOT snappy:-) and I love your answer, you have a great sense of humour, Happy Holidays to you:-)

  • @silkorganza The same to you! Thanks. :)

  • So, The wax is so..minuscule...the reason for it being to keep the chocolate from melting in your hand...People used to have paraffin on hand all the time for jelly making etc!! It sealed the jars. I did not have it this year..but grew up with it.. I added Crisco, 2 tablespoons...

  • @beautifulismylife You are soooo right!! Nice to see a comment like this I appreciate it. :)

  • very nice, you gave me good idea for christmas ! Thanks!

Wax on Sister!! My mother made these (10 times the recipe, we had 8 kids, all over 40 now, healthy and must have consumed a lot of wax over the years) and turned all of neighbors on to them..My now next door neighbor is on her way over to make them for her first time. Her husband who helped me with my Christmas lights, told me how he loves peanut butter and chocolate. So..now the rest is history!!

  • @beautifulismylife LOL@ Wax on sister! OMG I love this comment, thank you so much.

  • I did not mean to sound offensive,I was more curious thats all:-)

  • @silkorganza Okay, I just so many of these wax related comments it's a bit tiring.

The better question would have been: can you taste the wax in these? What does it taste like? Do you see the difference in the tone of the questions?

Anyway, sorry for being snappy. :)

  • No offense but using wax in a recipe sounds and probably tastes terrible?

  • @silkorganza I mention in the video that my mother made these for me as a child and my family loves these and asks me for the every year! Do you think this would happen if they tasted terrible? Do you think I would make these year after year if they were terrible? You can't taste the paraffin in these, paraffin has no flavour whatsoever.

  • Can't get paraffin wax where I live. Can I skip this ingredient or is it a must?

  • @puffylittleshoes please read description

  • My grandmother gave me this recipe and its my family and mines absolute favortie :) I do prefer the rice crispies tho

  • @missykennedy6 I usually use rice crispies as well, but just didn't have any the day I made these.

  • i just made this right now it was so good i loved it thx =)

  • @SamsungStrive1 These are one of my most favourite Xmas recipes! Thanks

  • yoyomax, i don't know why i ever unsubscibed to you for a month. i resubscribed and i just want to tell you that your doing an amazing job and you should keep up the desserts. because i make them and they just turn out great. thanks so much for doing this and please keep up the great desserts.

    -ballietbran

  • @ballietbran Thanks for subbing again! Nice to have you back.

  • can you get the wax in a regular store?

  • @shellyyux3 I buy mine in the baking aisle at the grocery store.

  • wow loada callories but mmmm

  • @LordKruzik There aren't low calorie that's for sure, but very nice for special occasions.

  • what is iceing sugar?

  • @Webkinznerd3000 Like I indicate in the video, icing sugar is powdered sugar.

  • Does it taste like Reese's? Thats my main concern :P

  • @NightmareVF Probably crunchier than a Reese's peanut butter cup. These are better in my opinion

  • I just realized I was drooling on my keyboard...

  • @SilkSwords lol!!

  • whats with the sad music

  • @killerkombat428 Hmmmm....I don't find it sad, just calming.

  • What they heck is "paraffin wax"?

  • @bu773rfly2010 It is a pure refined wax used in candle making and canning (and candy making)

  • @yoyomax12 I'll put it simple : We eat candles :p

  • My sister makes these every christmas to share with our family and friends. They love them and really look forward to eating them. Thanks for sharing.

  • I AM SO TRYING THIS OUT! It looks yummy (:

But can I use regular sugar?

  • @xXLaaPhreshXx Because these are no-cook, if you use regular sugar, they may taste a bit grainy. I would recommend using the powdered.
