@Raekott well and you've got to take into account that the 'suggester' is providing the weapons on both sides, so not only is he instigating a useless fight, he's fueling it.

even though then you have to figure that the kids were going to fight anyways. sure, it wouldn't have been with explosive presents, but it's not like corruption comes from a black pit, it comes from human nature, and will happen no matter what.

saw efterklang live in l.a. (spaceland) about a month ago. one of the best shows i've ever seen. cannot say how pleasantly surprised i was. hope that they get around more often, as i've been plugging them to everyone i know.

I like the sound- the older boys being the "adults" of their respective societies, the younger boys being what I can imagine to be the innocents, the children or those not in a position of power in their countries. And then America, happy go-lucky and free wheeling, provides both sides with arms. The only thing that seems weird is that theory sort of trivializes the country's initial capacity to do damage to the other side. People have been killing fine for centuries without help or explosives.
