While everything in this video is indeed included in the game, chances are you won't be able to zoom in and view all of these scenes, without your treasury plunging into huge debt from wages/maintinence/etc. This game is brutal.

I really love Tropico, this is definitely worth a try.

I am really looking forward to this game.  The first game was a surprisingly complex management sim. Sometimes it was fun just to go all Robert Mugabe-like and make a totalitarian, disease ridden hell hole of a place just for the hell of it. Although there is something to be said for actually acheiving a majority vote. A great game however you choose to play it.

Download the demo and give it a try. They actually give you a lot to play with in the demo !

No its not.. just preorder. Steam has the release date as Oct 25th I think. You might be mistaken the demo which Steam has on its site.

The road making sucks in the demo, I hope Kalypso fix this before the release. it is frustrating to make a road .  it is more difficult than oppressing the rebels.

Yeah, they are not (I got the game, it's out in Germany)

You can't even control them, and if you get invaded by a superpower, you lose, you can't even use them if that happens.

I don't get all the "Vote el presidente or else" because such posters do not exist in the game, it's not that deep.

I don't want to seem like a whiner, but why no PS3 version of this game?

My P.C. can't handle these graphics (well, not without being really sluggish), and now I'm really wishing I had bought an Xbox360, lol.

lately computer prices have gone way down you should be able to get an average system pretty cheaply at best buy as long as you stay away from laptops and macs

It is much harder to make games for PS3 than it is for PC or 360. So games with a bit smaller budgets usually only come to PC or 360... like darkest of days that was just released.

That said a brand new gaming computer doesn't have to cost more than $400 and a 360 about the same price, although I'd get a new PC if I was you. ;)

PC and Xbox have more similarities and it is easier to develop games with that systems
