this isnt eric prydz. Its just "red kult- call on me" this pre dates eric prydz version and is way cooler in my opinion. So yes eric prydz may of ripped red kult off. This was just a bootleg and never officially released. The "meeeeeeee" in the eric prydz version echos in time with the beat which is well anoying! You should rename this :)))) good share tho - peace

@TheFusio15 Thomas Bangaltar was first (Thomas Bangalter & DJ Falcon - Call On Me), prob around 2003 sometime, then came the 'Everybody' version, then Prydz. Why and how I don't know, I just know the chronology.

Your not the only one. Just before Call On Me by Eric Prydz came out, the radio station Galaxy 105 (in England) was playing this version of the song which, at the time, I could have sworn the presenter after each time they played it said it was by "Red Kult." I googled it repeatedly for months afterwards eventually giving up assuming I must have been mistaken. Just now I decided to google "Call on me red" cuz I forgot the "Kult" part. Seems like this version has become more popular since then...

it was this version they played mate. I bought it next day on white label. I have still got the record. Red Kult - Call Me. It was Matt Wilkins I think who used to play it! I think this is best version. Dont know why they then played eric prydz version. Maybe the DJ decided just to play this version lol. Who knows!

This is not the orginal before Eric Prydz did his version, this is a remix of The original song, just like eric prydz's call on me. but this one was released 2 years after eric prydz.

Actually, the idea for the Stevie Winwood sample started with Thomas Bangalter & DJ Falcon. They released "Call On Me" in limited runs on Thomas' Roule Label. Once Again, Bangalter didnt get sample cleareance. Eric Prydz was supposed to remix their version. He did and his version wound up getting released. This Red Kult bootleg surfaced around the same time. Red Kult's dub was used on the official Eric Prydz single. Once again, Bangalter had an idea only for someone to steal it (Gym Tonic etc)
