@ThePINKgirlFORLIFE depends were you build. if you build in a sandbox (what i do), you dont pay rent. however, your items return to your inventory after 3 hours, wich is autoreturn. so if you do that, save your building, and back-up frequently. if your using your land, (you have to rent land) you get to keep the house untill your rent expires, or you delete the house.

for building oppertunitys i would suggest sandbox gougen or sand box cordova they are usally full on the ground but if you are like me building in the air is better and easier for more info or for a friend to teach my second life name is " Reynas Rojyo" i am on second life rarely for now cause im moving but when i get into my house i will be on as much as i can

I swear you have to be extremely experienced and a great teacher, but the sound on this... I can't stand it, and the alignment is way off it cuts off the bottom of the video. Sorry but I'm going to have to find another video.

No, just find search box ok.. type in

"Free Sandbox" Ok should be a few you can find a empty space to build on, its free but buying land is expensive but then again you can rent it out or sell it for higher price but will cost in the ranges of £50 for a fairly small plot well medium size, anyway enjoy
