Notable mentions in my opinion... #212 is a party anthem for eternity and Prince knows to get funky, so it should be somewhere in the top 40 (not exactly where though), #240 is solid gold and should be #14 (I mean, seriously RS, get a clue), #255 should be #6 (again, RS need to wash out their ears), #277 - Bowie is a god, but couldn't have Space Oddity been somewhere? #290 - to be fair, that's actually one of the few hip-hop songs that's actually good. I hate Eminem, but Stan's OK, I must admit.

Rolling Stone definitely favors the Beatles and Bob Dylan. They're both great artists, but way overrepresented in this list. Just by going on the list, it seems like they're the best thing musically to happen to humanity ever
