i build out the throttle in the airfilter from the 1,4i and i build the poetry from 1.4iS in. (20 min work).

the motor sound is normal - lika a healthy civic.

the car have without air conditioning 980 KG (1030 with air conditioning)

90 ps - low weight - nice car!

look i have this car..and i got 9 secs flat 0-60 timed..so surely a vti can do faster than 8.5..youv obvioudly just looked at specs on the internet or somthing..because my offical 0-60 time on specs is ment to be around 11 seconds..but i did it in 9..so the specs arnt acurate..and if it does it in 9 flat..surely downhill with the extra speed it would do 7.

i must admit the D14A4 in the ej9 is fast for what it is -- it will piss on 1.4 clio's, golf's etc, but this one most likely been tweeked slightly

PS, 0-60 in 7 secs? no way, VTi's take 8.5....more like around 10 sec mark

actually its about 9,5 seconds from the moment he starts.most tachometers in hondas display more kph than u actually drive(sometimes about 15 kph).so u have to at least wait until he hit the 3rd gear at about 5000 revs before u stop counting!

so thats about 9-10 seconds.which is still amazing for 90 hp!!!

but the impression of the video is faster.

Not fake, its wheelspin to 40 km/h.. And assuming the clocks are 10% or so out, 0-100 khm in 9.5 seconds isn't unfeasable. Still quick though.

There's something wrong with this video. 1.4 Lt and approx 7 sec 0-100 ?? No way!!  I used to drive a Civic 1993 1.6 Vtec (125 hp) for 6 years. My acceleration 0-100 was about 9 sec (my car was in excellent condition)

sorry did i say i could get a similar time, i just watched again and counted, that was a very very quick 60 for a 90hp car, i can perhaps do a 8.5 - 9 seconds to 60 in my 1.4 105bhp 214.

by the way im not saying my rover is better, i would take a civic over my £400 quid rover anyday, but the rover does have more power stock which makes this run in the civic look even better!! what did you do to it?

he did nothing it´s a 1.4 non vtec motor.. i had the same one and runs like that.. take a look at b16 b18 h22 motor types it´s amazing

it´s a d14/... motor depends.. this hatchbacks wore made for the european market

this civics are great cars, economics, run fast, cheap, and incredible motors

the d14a4 doesnt have the gasket restricting the airflow given it 90bhp rather than 75bhp found in the d14a2/3 engines, my old car, the ej9 civic use to do the run in tht very simler tym, but it is not fake, the thing is, the clocks may be out of calibration after all it is a old car, just because something reads something, doesnt make it entirely true does it

it wasn't downhill run. Forgive me, but my English is not so good to tell you exactly what i did in this car...but it has 90HP...well, maybe 95 :]

This is D14A3 engine and I removed one little stock part under air filter, that was blocking this engin at 75HP...now it should be 90HP...meyby little more...meyby even 100 ;) now one knows :) but it goes like hell with only 1.4l engine :))) I also made a small modification in exhaust. What can I say: Honda - The Power Of Dreams :)

it is possible, my car did the same, but mine is the D14a4 engine, which is 90bhp because ther isnt tht gasket,

maybe because your motor isnt as healthy or u just cant drive it to 60mph/100kmh well
