@kevorth10 The University of Houston has an outdoor warning system, therefore I must assume that the city of Houston does as well, as most of those types of systems are integrated with one another.
@kevorth10 Yup, they are favorites of alot of CD Siren fans. The Thunderbolt 1002 is my personal fave. However, the city of Arlington has never used Thuderbolts, yet the cities of Fort Worth and Dallas have. I know of two remaining Thunderbolts left in the city of Fort Worth.
@russelD9 I have no earthly idea, I assume one is, as it is on top of the municipal court building and still has an active fallout shelter. The other is out in the suburbs of the city and the last time I looked at it, it was is a serious dilapidated state. The screen to protect the blower was gone, the paint was faded, and gone in some places.
@kevorth10 Federal Signal T-2001 and the University of Texas at Arlington has sirens that have voice communication capability, and the model of those are unknown to me at this current time.
Ok, to quell any questions that may rise up from lack of reading the video details, the reason why the audio from radio is so clear is the fact that I had two radios with me. The first is my HT, Wouxun KG-UVD1P Dual Bander, which was on top of the car with the speaker mic next to the camera, and my mobile rig, Yaseu FT-2600M.
