Can you explain what is Benedictus, is it the name of a saint? I do not know western culture much. I like the voice of THE PRIESTS. What is the song about??

"Benedictus" is a Latin word which means "blessed". The lyrics are a prayer used in the Catholic Mass and taken from Scripture. They refer to Jesus Christ when he entered Jerusalem and now present on the altar: "Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord..." Take care.

Robat Arwyn, Welshman, wrote this, not Mike Hedges, MH is the producer of the cd. This is contemporary music and sheet music is available on a Welsh site, can't remember the name though. Google and you will find... ;-)

I don't think you can get it free of charge unless someone borrows you the music sheet ;-) This is the kind of music that isn't available everywhere and I think it's only fair that the composer gets some "reward" for his great work. I seem to remember the prize was quite reasonable when I searched for the sheet a few months ago.

There seem to be several different arrangements, you could check out the websites of Curiad or the composer himself.
