@DR34MTeam Are you serious? At 37 Nash is still leading the league in assists and still one the best shooters in the Nba. His fg is 50 percent, his ft percentage is in the 90s and 3 point percentage is in the 40s. Nash is indeed the best point guard in the Nba right now.

@sUPimCeaSAr I disagree...Nash is indeed the best shooter at the PG position (as shown by the well-known stats you used), but his age and shaky defense are what lower him in my eyes. He's a future hall-of-famer, but, like you said, we're talking about the best PG's RIGHT KNOW. Tell me, though: if you were starting a team TODAY, and you had your choice of ANY PG in the league, would you take Nash over D-Will? CP3? D-Rose? Even Russell Westbrook or John Wall? I wouldn't.

And yes I agree with you on the defensive end with Nash but cut him some slack the guy has back problems. And I would love to see D-Will, Cp3 etc. play like Nash at age 37. So if I were to choose I would have D-Will over Nash but that is the only player I think would match up to Nash. And don't mention Cp3 because he is not able to carry a losing team into a winning team like Nash

You can take Nash all you like, but if I take any of these other guys, they'll run him off the court every single time. He just can't hang, defensively. And they are all athletic enough with good defensive abilities to handle him on the other end of the court. Nash is outmatched.

Nash in his first debut to the suns he improved the Sun's record by about 40 wins total. And no these players you mentioned cannot keep up with Nash. He still was able to put up the same numbers he did 5 years ago this season.

Why do people even consider rondont? He averages 11 points per game! He stands at the top of the key and hits ray Allen off a bunch of screens for a three or gives the ball to kg in the post and gets 14 assists per game our of it. Deron Williams, Chris Paul and Steve Nash are all MUCH better distributors AND scorers than rondont.

@Bestballerindanation I think Rose has the most NATURAL gifts in that he's an athletic phenom and NO PG can guard him already. I think CP3 has the highest IQ but Deron is the most capable PG because he can defend two positions, play two positions, has the best handles in the NBA and eyes in the back of his head and can shoot it with the best of them. He's 20ppg and 10apg EVERY night. Plus he's way more exciting than CP3.
