A job like this would be so rewarding, and so depressing at the same time. To see the amount of people that simply DON'T CARE about their animals - especially dogs. This show has made me cry several times. One of the saddest ones was a puppy chained to the toilet in an abandoned house and left to starve. They found pieces of its food dish in its belly. It was so hungry, it ate its fucking dish, before dying. And they didn't get a conviction on the asswipes that did it.

to the comment below : I agree with Hazaa, because this job would be awarding, you get to save animals daily, and without people like this hundreds of animals would be dieing.

I get tired of the horse cases.They still haven't shown the big tabby that was on the news and rescued by Janzten off a freeway in Feb.of 2009.I hope they show it soon as the new shows are back.

you can clearly see the hip bone sticking out from one of those horses @1:27..totally unacceptable and there isnt a good enough excuse out there to leaving an animal like that, maybe outside of serious medical issues for the owners and thats it.

i would love to do that job but if the owner did something really bad to the animal and i met them face to face,then i would probably beat the living crap out of them,because i cannot stand animal haters.

I watch this show everyday and i just cant get enough i rather watch animal planet then watching mtv ore useless teveshows.

I allways become emotionell seeing how people treat animales and animal planet also thought me that its better to adopt a animal then to go to a breeder.

one thing i would if i was on the show is to kick the s*hit out of those people that beat and harm the animales .

I just watched the second season(i believe) on discovery, but all of a sudden Jim Boller, Max Mixson and Scott wernick are gone and Charles Jantzen is the boss. What happened to Boller, Mixson and Wernick? Does anybody know?

yes she really is. she started as an intern at the HSPCA while she was going to Sam and now she is an animal cruelty investigator. she loves her job. i am planning on following in her footsteps. im so proud of her. she isnt on tv much, but i think she did a really good job on this episode.

nope not at first they took the horses away.then later on they found him and took him to court.
