I personally LOVE this song. On paper the lyrics might sound a bit trite, I mean it is very rhyme-y, and it was probably one of Martin's more conventionally pop demos, but the music adds this strange, melancholic, yet uplifting atmosphere, as well as Dave's singing. I don't know, this song just has a special place in my heart, maybe partly because the guys in the band don't like it. It's like the unappreciated child.
