Otakon can just get the mk. III right through the tunnel no problem. Would have made more sense if they gave snake a microwave shielded USB and was told to take it through because any electronics would get fried in there. That said, this is still the most emotional part in the story and I love it. Plotholes won't ruin the best scene in the game damn it!

Whats so sad about Snakes life is that he was created for one purpose, to kill, and throughout his entire life he never escaped it. He was born with an incredible soldiering skill and a bloodlust that he didn't even want and he was never going to be anything else. He would never get to choose. Big Boss chose to be a soldier and achieved his dream of Outer heaven, Snake had nothing but the thrill of murder.

@FlyingStar I also danced around with my feet out of frustration. I had to get up and move around just to press the button fast enough. And at the very end when Snake is crawling and he has less than a quarter of stamina left, I could barely press it fast enough to make it disappear. Then it showed up AGAIN.. As much as I tried, I couldn't get it to disappear. Luckily, the screen blacked out and I was able to get through. But jeez, this is why I'm reluctant to play again, but I want to so bad.

This scene was done SO well... the more you had to press the button, the more you felt like snake... the more worn down you were. Kojima was brilliant in making this scene.

Has anyone ever actually died in here? I tried once, just to see. It took forever & when Snake finally died it was just so.... Wrong. Snake dying in the microwave chamber is by far the most unfitting end possible for anyone. After all, nothing, not even spending 3 minutes & 13 seconds cooking inside a microwave oven can stop the WILL OF SNAKE!!

Games rarely ever lead up to such an emotional turning point. The MGS series has its ups, and its downs. Like all games would, but I can definitely say that it is one of those series that is a rare gem that should be always be treasured, and is certainly a glorious experience to have played through.

WOW. What a powerful part of the game. As gay as it may sound, I teared up. I mean I've been playing as Solid Snake since i was 10 years old. This is the most powerful, beautiful game I've ever played. And the ending, with Big Boss... just stunning.
I remember how i cleared this part:First i thought "well this isnt that big deal" then it came harder and harder,and seeing Snake at ground and smashing triangle so fast i can,i yelled for Snake"SNAKE!!YOU CANT GO DOWN YET! Just completed the game today. I was desperately yelling at Snake to get up during that scene while mashing the button. I think I've never done that kind of thing in my 20years of Video gaming. You can say what you want about MGS-Games being all about the cut scenes, but NO game out there is able to get the player so emotionally involved in the scenes. Every MGS-game had at least one goosebump-moment and one tearjerker for me. Hideo Kojima is a genius.
Looking back at that scene, i must say, it is still the best game I've ever played this generations of consoles, nothing and I will repeat it, nothing comes close to what Kojima and his wizards did in this game.
becouse if you pay attention when snake isnt with the mk3 it goes out of range as its remote controlled . thats why when playing the game if u go miles infront the mk3 looses signal with snake

WOW. What a powerful part of the game. As gay as it may sound, I teared up. I mean I've been playing as Solid Snake since i was 10 years old. This is the most powerful, beautiful game I've ever played. And the ending, with Big Boss... just stunning.

I remember how i cleared this part:First i thought "well this isnt that big deal" then it came harder and harder,and seeing Snake at ground and smashing triangle so fast i can,i yelled for Snake"SNAKE!!YOU CANT GO DOWN YET! YOU HAVE MISSION TO COMPLETE" and after i was done,i noticed:My head almost exploded

Just completed the game today. I was desperately yelling at Snake to get up during that scene while mashing the button. I think I've never done that kind of thing in my 20years of Video gaming. You can say what you want about MGS-Games being all about the cut scenes, but NO game out there is able to get the player so emotionally involved in the scenes. Every MGS-game had at least one goosebump-moment and one tearjerker for me. Hideo Kojima is a genius.

Looking back at that scene, i must say, it is still the best game I've ever played this generations of consoles, nothing and I will repeat it, nothing comes close to what Kojima and his wizards did in this game.
Truly a masterpiece of the decade.

becouse if you pay attention when snake isnt with the mk3 it goes out of range as its remote controlled . thats why when playing the game if u go miles infront the mk3 looses signal with snake
