Look again at scripture: "In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed." It says we will be CHANGED in the twinkling of an eye, into our incorruptible bodies. Jesus is always our example. He ascended to the Father (a type of rapture) and the disciples watched Him ascend. I believe the world will witness us rise.

1 Thess 4:16-17 Paul writes about being "caught up". In Matt. 24:40-42 and Luke 17:34-36 Jesus talks of being "taken". None of these scriptures say anything about disappearing. :o)
I'm sorry, but you didn't provide the answer (because I know there isn't one). I believe in a rapture to the clouds to meet Jesus when He comes in glory, but the disappearing act cannot be substantiated with Scripture.
Ok, so what's your view on the *taking* and *catching up* since that is obviously what you are more after (sharing-wise) than actually asking questions you actually desire an answer for.
The "catching up" the "taking" are the same thing. The context of Matt 24:40-42 that you pointed to is the coming of Christ in verse 30. In verse 31 the angels facilitate the gathering together of Christ's elect at this time. Therefore it'll be the angels who catch the believers up and take them (us) to the clouds to meet Christ after the initial change of our bodies which takes an instant (1 Cor 15:51-52). No talk of disappearing. How fast the angels travel with believers is another question.
I assure you I believe in O.L.J.C and worship and love Him. The reason I bring it up is to make people think what they believe in. The truth is in the Bible, not in our imagination. The question must be; what does the Bible REALLY say. Whether Christians disappear or not isn't a big issue; when it happens is - whether before or after a time of tribulation.
In the bible it talks directly about you, it says that people will think jesus will never come, and that he should have come already. It also says that he will not know when he is coming.

I tend to lean toward the post-trib eschatology, but who's to say that this video is not taking place during times of tribulation? Tribulation doesn't necessarily mean massive destruction 24/7, but rather a duration of persecution.

You're right. He didn't need to pray. He even said that He's praying so that we would know. Jesus set an example for all Christians on how to live - prayer is part of that as you well know. If Jesus didn't pray, we wouldn't either. You are wildly twisting different scriptures to justify your fear of His return. But that won't change the fact that Jesus WILL return for His bride. The scripture in Ecclesiastes has nothing to do with Christ's return at all.

Scripture rejects three comings of Christ as required by the pre-trib rapture. In Heb. 9:28, it is clear that Christ will appear a second and final time, when he comes in glory to save us. The "catching up" the "taking" are the same thing. The context of Matt 24:40-42 that you pointed to is the coming of Christ in verse 30. In verse 31 the angels facilitate the gathering together of Christ's elect at this time. Therefore it'll be the angels who catch the believers up and take them (us) to the clouds to meet Christ after the initial change of our bodies which takes an instant (1 Cor 15:51-52). No talk of disappearing. How fast the angels travel with believers is another question.

The question must be; what does the Bible REALLY say. Whether Christians disappear or not isn't a big issue; when it happens is - whether before or after a time of tribulation.

I tend to lean toward the post-trib eschatology, but who's to say that this video is not taking place during times of tribulation? Tribulation doesn't necessarily mean massive destruction 24/7, but rather a duration of persecution.

If Jesus was God, full of the HS, why did he have to pray, he should have been connected to God, and if you are of God you should be perfect. Didn't Jesus said be perfect for I am perfect. You're right. He didn't need to pray. He even said that He's praying so that we would know. Jesus set an example for all Christians on how to live - prayer is part of that as you well know. If Jesus didn't pray, we wouldn't either. You are wildly twisting different scriptures to justify your fear of His return. But that won't change the fact that Jesus WILL return for His bride. The scripture in Ecclesiastes has nothing to do with Christ's return at all.

If Jesus is God, the he wrote Ecclesiastes and he said those words, because doesn't change. Watch and pray doesn't sound like Ecc. 9:10. You r the one wildly twisting the scripture. Somewhere else Jesus also said, don't worry about tomorrow, or what tomorrow will bring. Watching and praying is worrying, worrying is lack of faith. You need to reconsider your logic.

By your logic, the Bible is telling us to worry because it tells us to Watch and Pray several times: Matthew 26:41, Mark 13:33, Mark 14:38, Luke 21:36, Ephesians 6:8, Colossians 4:2, and 1 Peter 4:7 which says, "But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and WATCH unto PRAYER." If you think watching and praying is worrying and a lack of faith, then YOU have the twisted logic because the Bible commands us to watch and prayer, as I have just shown you.

Watching and praying doesn't mean sitting in a chair and watching the sky, praying for Jesus to return... just waiting and not doing anything else. It's carrying on with your life and doing what needs to be done. God still has work for us to do, too. But, in that work, we are to keep focused on Him and recognize the signs of Jesus' return, watching for them and praying. Perhaps you just misunderstood what it means to watch and pray?

Thanks, the imminent return of Christ, which some call the "rapture", is also part of the mystery revealed to the apostle Paul. Paul's gospel is not the same as Peter's. This event will not be the end of time. The bible is full of contradictions unless it is "rightly divided" II Timothy 2:15.

Thanks for the video it's very good. I believe that your scripture reference is not speaking of the, so-called, "rapture" though. I believe the good news of the "body of Christ" saints being removed from earth was only taught by the apostle Paul. He is the steward of the dispensation of grace and that great event portrayed by your video marks the end of this dispensation. The reference, I believe, is of the return of Christ to earth.

Scripture rejects three comings of Christ as required by the pre-trib rapture. In Heb. 9:28, it is clear that Christ will appear a second and final time, when he comes in glory to save us. This view also is inconsistent with Matt. 24:24-31; Mark 13:24-27; and 2 Thess. 2:1-12 where the rapture and the Second Coming occur together

there will be many more ppl saved during the 7 year tribulation (the Antichrist unveiled in this time period & the Body of Christ leaves the earth & is joined with Christ the Head). The beginning of the 7yr trib marks the beginning of the 4horseman, the 7seals & 7bowls of God's wrath(read revelations).
