Edward Teller was not at the Ivy MIke shot. He was in the US doing an experiment at the time. He did shine a spot of light on a wall at the time of detenation to see if it would move from the shock.

People think Edward Teller is a brilliant man. I dont. I think anyone who would want to dream up a weapon this powerful has more than a few screws loose. If it is possible to be incredibly brilliant and totally insane at the same time. Edward Teller fulfills both.

yes we are friends, we grew up together and then one day he deciced to go learn how to destroy the world, never seen him since.

And I do enjoy these weapons, they are the things that has kept the world at peace and without another world war for the past 60 years.

If it wasn't for this, USSR and NATO would probably have had a war by the end of WW2. Then many other small wars would have been created. Today the human population would probably be no more then 2 billion.

ok umm retard. if you have not noticed thermal nuclear weapons have been a live for the past 60 years. Two of the most "war loving" countries (USA, USSR) had them and they never used them. Yes US did use it in Japan, but that is a whole diffrent story and side to this subject.

Do you know how many wars there would have been and how many dead without these weapons? If we didn't have them the technology we have to today with conventional weapons would have wiped out the earth.

I gurentee you without nuclear weapons today's Europe would most lickley be filled with landmines and artillery creators. 12 year olds walking around with machine guns hoping they survive the day without a bomb landing on them. You know why?
