@Profsportster Are you some kind of idiot. People like you and the moron HGMercury8077 should be taken down a dark alley. Your opinions are based on absolutely nothing. Reading through comments is fascinating and as much as HGMercury goes on, he should in fact read independent scientific reports found on internet. Maybe then he would change his mind - maybe
@HGMercury8077 That "One product" was USANA. What else, The PDR? You pay to have your product included in the PDR. The Comparative Guide? It features NO testing and the "experts" are either biased, have false credentials or are charlatans. USANA couldn't show their products were any better than competition which cost 1/3 the price and an independent medical researcher at the University of Montreal also came to the same conclusion. Congrats. You're paying 3X too much for a pyramid scheme.
@MrOheck University of Alberta “One product claimed that it “meets specifications for potency, uniformity and disintegration as appropriate.” However no specifications of “appropriate” were given.”
CONCLUSIONS
This study showed that there are products sold on the Canadian market which use statements on their label which are difficult to define. However, such terms and statements seem to be used to add pseudo-scientific and unjustified value to the product; such statements should be avoided."
@MrOheck no he won't. he's too negative about this. he's here just to put people and good ideas down. anyone involved in this industry and are passionate about it understand EVERY aspect of the industry and can give very good answers but this person is just here to be negative. KEY QUESTION!!!!: why is he here so often?:)))))))))
MLM products are good...but their prices are needlessly inflated...usually because most of the price goes as sales commissions to the levels of the pyramid..
not only are the products great, there opertunity is even better, i have joined with usana and 6 weeks later, im making an extra $1000+ a month and its just growing every week. you can make more than $1000 a week, if you put your heart into it. if you like to join ill help you with all the info you need just leave me a private message.
That's fine but what we have here is fast food being sold as if it were served in a high end restaurant. If want to prove me wrong demonstrate it with some actual proof. If you can't then I'm sorry but you're not going to change my mind by telling me of your "personal account" which I can't verify. If USANA makes "science based" products there should be some independent evidence which justifies their high cost. From what I've read independent sources show USANA to be over-priced.
HGMercury....I have read quite a few of your posts and you certainly present some interesting arguments. I have been involved in USANA for some time and obviously don't share your negativity.
You spend a lot of time discussing the fact the USANA is overpriced. Can you fill us in on specifically what products you are comparing USANA to?
I would love to make a side by side comparison. Perhaps we could agree on what criteria to compare against. It would be an interesting experiment.
Do I have to be negative to doubt USANA? Perhaps I have legitimate concerns. If it's a science based company why is it they spend so little on product development?
I'm a Distributor. What is your involvement? I'm particularly curious since, after reading your posts I can tell you have never been involved (or if you were you weren't very knowledgeable).
Many of your arguments apply to MLM in general so I am interested to know the reasons why you are particularly focused on USANA.
Are you trying to hurt my feelings? I'm touched that you would think so highly of me that you would use passive aggressiveness in order to attack me.
USANA is just the one which seems to pop up the most. While there are a lot of companies out there being promoted with half truths, whole lies and misleading information USANA just seemed to stick with me.
Yes, your feelings are very important to me. Nice dodge on the question. Why don't you tell us really what your motivation is for launching all your attacks on USANA, or is there something you are trying to hide?
Actually I didn't dodge your question. USANA is just the scummiest company I've come across.
Why don't you just come right out and say it OomPappaBoomPa? You want to know if I'm financially compensated for my "attacks on USANA." The answer is no. I do not gain financially in anyway from my correcting the lies being spread by USANA Distributors.
I'm sure that's hard for you to comprehend. After all being in USANA you're probably accustomed to people only "helping" others for money.
I think you are lying. I think that you are Jon Taylor, and I think that you are compensated for your attacks on USANA,.
Few people would go to the lengths that you are to spread misinformation about USANA if you weren't being compensated in some way. You are lying, you are dodging the question and your avoidance of the issue is showing who the real scumbag is.
Why are you trying to respond as two different people? That's both sick and hilarious!!!!
I'm not Jon Taylor but believe what you will. What misinformation have a spread? If memory serves me correctly you actually agreed with me when I was having an argument with that other Distributor who was lying and saying that you had to have a product of quality to be in the PDR.
Dodging what question? I already told you what my beef is with USANA. The lies which are spread to promote it. You see it too or you wouldn't have told jdfm27 to quit arguing with me because you knew he was rong.
If it really bothers you that much just create another User Name and start messaging me. Try to keep your story straight though. You've gotten really sloppy with your use of OomPappaBoomPa. LOL!!!!!
Now who's the one that's delusional Jon. The fact that I agreed with you about the other distributor has nothing to do with anything. He was wrong, that's all. Same as you are.
Achieving wealth in Usana actually takes a new path in the MLM industry. The highest money maker in the company is not a Network Marketing guru. Colette Larson is was just somebody who loved the products and believed in Dr. Wentz's vision to spread superior health to the world. So it just goes to show you just have to focus on the mission at hand and learn how much you, your friend & family can benefit from these products.
Her actual name is Collette Larsen. Larsen with an "e." She and her family got in on the ground floor of USANA and so they're on the top of the pyramid scheme.
What's interesting is that the rest of her family left USANA to found Monavie.
That's cool for them but Monavie actually pretty much sucks as a product. But even still Collette isn't the master distributor in the company nor is she THIS year's highest money maker. The master distributors don't make as much as her or current highest money maker, Jeremy Stansfield.
I never said she was any of those things. What makes you say that Monavie sucks as a product? Don't get me wrong I'd probably agree with you if I looked into but I'm curious what you're basing this on. I say that USANA sucks as a product and as a business.
By the way, when I found out how good the product is, I actually gave to some of the products 4 other people as gift. All of them told me the product is excellent.
That's not science or factual proof. I'm sorry but I'm not willing to believe personal stories. I've read too many lies by people trying to push USANA.
HGMercury. I'm an end user and as I was weak when I was young. I took supplement quiet regularly and I can tell the difference. It's what goes into the supplements that cost you that price. Don't forget that it contains no preservatives and with money back guarantee. Products with these terms often cost more as they have to discard the products that expire within shorter period of time compare to other brands with preservatives.
Every USANA person I talk to reverts to their personal account. I'm sorry but I just don't believe you. I've discovered too many lies to simply trust what a Distributor says. If this is a "science based" product show me the scientific proof that it is a superior product worthy of its cost.
If it was simply a matter of higher quality ingredients which cost more than they would have been able to justify the cost of their products in their court case. Instead they TWICE failed to prove their products were reasonably priced and TWICE failed to prove they were of better quality. Independent sources have examined their product and have determined them to cost over three times as much as comparable products in stores which are of the same quality.
Based on the evidence I think its more likely the case that the high cost is related to it being a pyramid scheme and the questionable ownership of the company. Are you aware that the IRS charged USANA with excessively compensating its Executives? That's why your product costs are so high. All the money is being taken out of the company by those at the top of the scheme in true pyramid fashion.
In response to the claims of product superiority I'd like to offer this quote from the article "Hard to Swallow" published by Forbes magazine.
"Usana's vitamins are not that special. "The economic reality of Usana, and other [multilevel marketing] entities, mandates that their products invariably lack robust distinctiveness and convincing evidence of consumer relevance and superiority—achievable through rigorous clinical trials only—to their retail counterparts," Almada said.
IMany USANA Distributors make claims about how the products saved them from some ailment. Maybe these claims are true or maybe they're made up to help promote the persons business. Either way these claims are not unquestionable scientific evidence that USANA has a superior product. If USANA is so revolutionary why is there no independent source which backs up their claims. From what I've read all the independent sources point to their being extremely overpriced.

just make sure you join a solid mlm that will last cause once you make it but your company goes down- you go down!
delli2011 1 year ago
The products are very good indeed, just too expensive.
Source Naturals Life Force Multiple are not mlm but has mlm-grade and mlm optimal doses at a fraction of USANA's prices.
Optimal doses at 31$ for 180 tablets for a three month supply? Essentials would cost you 150$!
Check it out on Amazon! They sell it there!
