I lived in Northampton from Aug 2003 to June 06, I loved each moment of it, I can identify most landmarks in the video,and I There's so much more to Northampton ,I think its a great town to be in.I loved the sixfields leisure area ,duston, hunsbury. We used to shop at Tesco Extra and sainsburys. I used to commute to corby/kettering/wellingborough regularly. Now I have moved to USA,but a bit of northampton will always stay in my heart forever.

Just logged on here so I could show a friend about the dump i used to live in. The Aquadrome smells of sewage, Greyfriars is scary, Weston Favell Centre is mecca for poverty and has everything skint folk could want Peacocks, Wilkinson and fuckin Oliver Adams. GOD how i DONT miss it! Nightfire 620 is right! Wellingborough Road is awash with the Insane, Infirm and Incapable. As for videoing your journey from Wolverton while driving JVV312Q not sure I`D be calling people twats!

i lived in northampton until i was 17, then i decided to move to birmingham, they both suck.

I lived in Goldings (dell crescent) Lings (Tyres court)and Spring Boroughs (Horsemarket), none was that good.

But the best places i went to there was Abington Park (good for a shag), Legends Nightclub (dunno if its still there), The Lounge (i could drink from the age of 12 there), and who could deny the train station, the quickest way out...

The vid shows a few pubs that are all in desperate need of a major refurbishment (Lloyds excepted) a strip club and a Jesus Army centre. Not exactly for tourists. They are all around Abington Square. Where's the rest of Northampton? Concentrate on land marks, heratige and listed buildings and points of natural beauty. Despite what people say it has interesting areas and I don't mean the pub crawl on Wellingborough Road ending at the lap dancing club! :)
