Actually, Layne, the first time I heard "I Saw Three Ships" by David Arkenstone was 1989. The copyright date on "The Narada Christmas Collection, Volume 1" was 1988. So 1988 may have been the very first year that it was used.
You are correct. It originally aired in 1989 and again in 1990, too. I revised the notes.
