First time I've heard this as an instrumental and never quite realised how subtle and expressive the tune alone was. Agus leis na faclan cuideachd ... brisidh i mo chridhe gach àm.
I love this interpretation. I love Catherine Ann McPhee's interpretation. I love Runrig's version. Each one adds a different dimension to this gorgeous song, without taking anything away from its essence. Sincerity + imagination + artistic skill = beauty.
This is the best most creative modern version of this song I have ever heard. I simply adore it. Duncan you have to get the right gaelic singer to sing along to it and record it, Donnie Munro or someone, maybe a woman Mary Jane Lamont from Canada is a female who does modern gaelic compositions. Anyway It is brilliant as is!! Well Done,
i met Duncan before Wolfstone was created. I think , he was a clerck in a bank in Muir of Ord . At the time i lived in Evanton like most of the eaglesham family. I saw them a few time in the begining.
I met Duncan, must have been in the days when the band were just starting out in the 80s as I was at University at St Andrews in Scotland, and a friend (and pool partner) of Duncan's older brother Alan. Love the music.
