DOMS : Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness is what this is called. You don't have to always be sore but usually I am. Like if your muscle isn't sore with micro tears why would the body try repair itself? If is major pain then you may have hurt something! but yeah this DOMS is common.

Your not always gonna get sore cause your body gets used to it but if you want to be toned use less weight more reps and if you wanna get bigger more weight and as much reps as you can do

I've gotten to the point were my muscles really don't get sore at the end. This makes me feel like I'm not getting a good workout, i lift weights till i can't but i don't get sore can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

I would assume work out heavy, but with fewer reps. This taxes the muscles, causing your brain to send hormones to build the muscl bigger so it won't face a stress so extreme again. If your really sore then you just did too many reps which causes lactic acid build up making your muscles tender. Basically just keep up the good work
Lets say I have to follow a workout regimen set up by my school... Im still sore as fuck from a week ago.... Hard workout but, i mean still, did I pull something?
