I actually feel sorry for her. In her interviews she seems a really nice person, but by her and We are the Fallen doing Evanescence songs, shes getting a lot of hate. Alright. Carly Smithson is a talented woman, but she is NOT Amy Lee. No one can be Amy Lee. You can put a woman with black hair in a band with former Evanescence members and hope you get something close, but the truth is, you wont. Nothing compares to Amy Lee. I am not totally against We Are The Fallen, but I think I would have more respect for them if they weren't trying to be Evanescence.. That's just my opinion though, whatever anyone else thinks is totally fine.

Amy Lee was Evanescence. I actually feel sorry for her. In her interviews she seems a really nice person, but by her and We are the Fallen doing Evanescence songs, shes getting a lot of hate. If they wont a status as a original band they need to not necessarily stop the style but definatly stop doing Evanescence songs, especially as she cant get the notes right.

Was a good cover by her, really it was. It's just the fact that We Are The Fallen thought "She can sing bring me to life, lets grab her". Then they got her to sing that and other Evanescence songs in their concerts where there trying to say they want to be known as a band on there own. If thats what they want then its common sense not to do what they did. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Evanescence and I really like We Are The Fallen too, but they have done some silly stuff

It doesn't bother me when random american idol contestants sing Evanescence songs. They usually make a balls of it, but it doesn't bother me because they're only amateurs. What does bother me, however, is when they then join a band with a load of ex band members of Evanescence. She proved here that she could never do the Ev style, so what is she doing with Ben Moody and the other 2 (they're too insignificant for me to mention)

I don't like how she's constantly depressing her notes like when she says "wake me up inside." she doesn't hold the note...I think this performance would've been better if there was actually a male vocalist up there, so that she dosn't have to fill so much, and mess up the track.
And, stop comparing Evanescence to Carly/We are the Fallen..unless Ben Moody is looking for competition between Evanescence, don't judge them...they're their own band now.
