BF3 - Jets! Some tips and tricks to not fly like a noob!

I wish I would've found this video before, I had to learn my own strategies to fly the jet

ive been playing bf3 for a while still i only have one kill on a jet and i was just practicing flying when i got that kill i was dive bombing

@kolinmartz Getting kills consistently can be tough. Just keep at. Remember to use your air brakes to turn sharper.

one time i was trying to kill this enemy almost had him then all of a sudden i just suicided then i looked at it again my team mate bailed out of his burning jet and the explosion killed my jet and i only got a 50 pts assist

if some one is on your tail, fly towards the sun because it would be hell for them to see you then.

I fly and destroy enemy jets only in third person view. if you master third person it's sooo much easier than first person :)

@aadam1998 If you play on small servers you won't have to worry too much about anti-air. I leveled up on small servers to get the unlocks and then moved to bigger servers.

Im realy rubbish i can fly just cant take out jets and find them please help mate :'(

@aadam1998 First, try to get used to flying in general. Forget about fighting for now. Go to an empty-ish server (8 people minimum) and try to just fly in the jet. Then slowly try follow another plane. Don't worry about shooting. If you can follow a plane, shooting is easy. Try get a friend to chase, it helps.

@aadam1998 Im the same as you, I mean your probably better now, but I cannot get a kill in the jet, I only ever get hit markers. I only got flares by continually spotting and getting spot assists >.<

I was wondering, do you use the arrow keys or the mouse for pitch/roll in air vehicles? Mouse control was a death sentence in BF2 and earlier games, is it still as clumsy in BF3?

@DuckThatSits I use an Xbox controller hooked up to my PC for vehicles. It work great for jets because of all the turning.
