chopper gunner can rack up way more kills than ac130 on almost every map because you can just hold the trigger down and keep firing. The ac130 has to reload it's weapons, making it harder to get as many kills.

oh, and if you are playing on wasteland (i got my first nuke there) you get SO many kills with the chopper gunner

I'm actually having a pretty good time using it. although, it really just depends what map you are on and how spread out the enemies are. If you can catch them in a group, you can butt f*ck the shit out of them with the ac130. lol

With MW2, it's very important to learn the difference between camping and playing defensively.

Camping will let you kill 1-2 people before they come back and murder you in the face.

Playing defensively allows to you kill people before they can get their sights on you, while moving around the map from cover to cover.

Play defensively, always use cover, and find choke points where the other team will funnel towards you so you can mow them down.

I find that people play differently online between each console, It seems people on the xbox kind of suck and run out in the open alot without checking their corners, and most people on the ps3 stick to walls and check their corners and what not. try speed knifing with marathon, lightweight, and commando with a sub machine gun. All you do is fight your way to the enemy spawn area then have a pistol with tactical knife(m9 recommended) and just sprint and slash catching them completely by surprise. it sounds crazy but ive gone 47-8 and had a 15 kill streak on knifing alone just run in laps around their base outrunning them and quickknife and shooting one with a pistol here and there. with your skills I garuntee success

I've actually done this several times. It works a little TOO well if you ask me. It shouldn't be so easy to sprint across the map and stab the other team in the back.
