Hi 1103Dana!  I think what I would do is just work on gently socializing Graci before asking her to do obedience or any kind of "work" in places she doesn't feel comfortable. Once she starts to feel comfortable in more places and around more things, then you can ask for simple commands she knows well. I have a bunch of videos showing socialization work on puppy Rafa, but it can apply to an older puppy or an adult too. Your Graci sounds so smart and I wish you much success!

Your puppy is sooo cute and smart. Graci is extremely intelligent and can do what I ask just not around other people or dogs.

Hi, I am using Natural Balance Dog Food Rolls. The Turkey formula crumbles the least.

Absolutely fabulous! Nars is amazing! Do you use only positive reinforcement? She seems to be so happy to work and she's so young! You are doing a wonderful job with her! Can't wait to see more videos!

Thanks Rickyagility for your kind comments. I use a combo of positive reinforcement and corrections. You can see there are times I give her a little leash pop for inattention.

Enthusiasm can be dangerous though. She has bounced up and poked me right in the eye a number of times as I was just bending over. haa haa!
