  • An era of a mad blind arms race started by the power thirsty western world

  • @ssurfur

It was the evil western world that occupied Poland, Hungary and most of eastern europe for nearly half a century...no wait, that was the Russians!

  • surf's up!

  • @SaineRaine Seen this? watch?v=9U8CZAKSsNA

  • thats what happends when Chuck norris jumps into water

  • RIP Bikini bottom :P

  • Operation Hardtack/Yahoo, in the water just outside the Bikini Atoll, 1953. Tested the effects of a deep water nuke on various vessels. The bomb exploded 2000 ft down, and was 8 kt, about 40% of the Nagasaki weapon.

  • Chuck Norris was scubadiving when he had to sneeze, this is what Happened!!!!!

  • figli di troia assassini

  • WAH BAHI WAH

  • Scary how an object so small can release so much energy and be so powerful.

  • I hope that hits America once

  • think that when you are fishing and suddenly few miles outside danger area you see this........

  • dam you1!!! you sunk my battleship

  • implode44 you are right. Hilarious comment!!

  • chuck norris farted under water!!

  • on every nuke video someone keeps talking about chuck norris

  • holy shit its chuck norris house :))

  • O_O Tsunami? after

  • Damn, I thought fishing with dynamite was cool........

  • @dogknght9 dude this comment is on like evry nuke vid,and i think ur the same guy lol

  • Thumbs up that this is Chuck Norris cannoball

  • tang ina nio!!

  • THAT'S FUCKIN CLASSIC!

  • so many ways to destroy. so little time to heal it.

  • Grab your surfboard everyone!

    JIHAAAAAAAAAAA!

  • 0:23 GODDAMN

  • dude thats just by the beach the ondulation shoud be HUGE with that blast

  • is it no wonder there are so many cancers and illness in the world. makes me want to grab my surfboard for one last crazy death ride on a radioactive wave home.

  • son of a

  • MOTHER F----

  • @david the beastman,you are one dumb son of a bitch,enemies of god.How so????Fucking retarded bastard

  • guys guys guys...... think about the fish? Nemo was like WTF is that bomb doing down here then boom and all dory could say was just keep swimming...

  • the bird is funny i imagine it saying mother fuckers stop fucking with my home or i am goin to poop on your head. something like that .

  • the bird is like...haha can't get me bitch!!!!

  • That shit would be great at a Water Park. It would put Giant Buckets to shame :)

  • I like the bird flying at the end! As if to say, no nuke will get me!

  • surfs up..

  • U know i think america really loves this planet!!!! Why dont they blow it up so theres more room to tan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What the helll why cant america just stop fighting and make peace so our world doesnt come to an end!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • you say that like your not part of this country.

  • you stupid cocksucker

  • fuck u...

  • @DavidTheBeastman I agree and this is NOT spam!! It's an opinion and a good comment. Don't be so close minded people.

Look at those bombs and be happy. Golly.

  • omg my eyes got huge of how much water went flying

  • are you retarded?

  • I find this hilarious. Idiot.

  • yeah lets destroy our planet ...

  • you scare me a little

  • Let's go fishin'

  • che merda

  • sorry i farted

  • that would suck if i was in the water when they did that

  • hmm I've heard that water slows the chainreaction down and is probably the only thing that slows it down. but I'm not the kind of guy who'll vote for these crazy experiments. ok we know nuclearbombs are powerful. hiroshima and nagasaki already gave us that information. and testing them out in water is no good excuse. who'll take care of the nuclear waste? what happens with an extreme toxic chemical that has half-time at about 450years and above when it lyes in the sea? think twice.

  • That's probably why nuclear testing has been internationally banned for quite some time now.

  • technically water doesnt stop the reaction a particular type of sediment does.

whenthe first nuke was tested the scientist who did it didnt know if it would destroy the entire univers, considering they didnt know what stopped it

But nature sux and nukes rock!!!!!!

  • that what bird said..

  • HOLY.....SHIT.....

  • HOLY CRAP!!!

  • overfishing and chemical pollution

i really hate it when people like you think you know everything and shake your head at whatever the government does.

you are a sheep to the news. you believe global warming will kill us all and that we should all use ethanol

did you know if u covered the US in corn and made ethanol you couldn't power all the US's cars? the news never told you that.

radiation does not saturate water well.

and no. people aren't. you are.

  • that bird at 38 seconds was like holy shit

  • auhuahauhahoauhahouhu so true

I bet if he were to tell his bird's friends the happening nobody would belive him

  • more like wtf

  • OH NO MAI HOMEZ!

  • lil excessive boom

  • some where in that whater, a fish saw that, and said dam

  • roflmfao jjg

  • hahaha

  • @jjgijgtrjitg what fish? everything is amplified through water. you shoot a gun off into water by a fish the sudden shock will kill em. this is an explosion, a BIG FUCKING THERMAL NUCLEAR RADIOACTIVE "EVERYTHING AROUND IT WILL FUCKING DIE" EXPLOSION.

  • @DRcaprice: Yeah, you're right. Everything for, perhaps, a couple of miles radius. Probably a tenth of the average year's haul for an ocean going tuna fishing ship. The radioactivity is activated sodium (from the sea salt) which dies off within a couple of months, and ten or so pounds of unburned plutonium and tamper, which quickly falls into the sediment. Not good, IMO, but not worthy of all caps, either.

  • @puncheex i guess we can both agree that its not a good thing for the ocean. but the ocean has seen alot worse.

  • @DRcaprice: Oh, yes, indeedy. I'm not a fan of nuclear testing, though I do see the need of exploring the science and wielding a big stick.

  • @puncheex me too, internet high five and happy 420.

  • ich hab gefurzt xD

  • holy crap....i was waiting for the tide to dissappear

  • NGC 1845...shit video

  • lol

  • Era Voulgaris ...not much more

  • you have no idea what that means, do you?

    It means "common era".

  • Rofl oh yeah! XD

  • hahaha the bird : Dammmmmnnnnnnnn

  • lol

  • the bird at the end was like HOLY FUCKING SHIT!!!

  • lololololololol

  • @implode44 hahahahah XD

  • United Snakes Department of Death!

  • all i hav 2 say is thats just not fukkin right to even hav weapons that r that fukin big

  • are there any extended versions of this where u can see the wave

  • not cool :-(

  • who wants to surf?

  • that was nothing , sunami kicks its ass.

  • you will be covered with radiation and later on ur life and u will get cancer!

  • boom

  • LoL, ya, my calculations got there too. There should be more contenders or at least a spread of the load through a spectrum of fuels/ideas. When are the companys gonna offer us something we want, instead of insisting what we have and cant have. Even more absurd the opening of another coal power station(???) a new coal powerstation, pfft it should be a test facility for H2O as fuel, lol the return of the steam engine, without the massive carbon emissions.

    Hope lots of it.

  • Nuclear power should be looked upon favorably even by those that are anti-nuclear. The fact is: if we use nuclear power, we reduce the radioactivity of nuclear waste by as much as 90% and create as much electricity from 350 pounds as that of 15000 tons of petrol!!! Research it if you think I'm bullshitting you.

  • I agree. Nuclear Fission power is incredibly efficient, with hardly any pollutants created compared to fossil fuel power stations. Also, the two radioactively unstable isotopes created in a Fission reaction of enriched Uranium-235(Krypton-92 and Barium-141) can be handled, contained and stored, unlike carbon dioxide or sulphur monoxide. There ample Uranium, Plutonium and other fissile elements found in the Earth's crust.

  • But I want it now!

  • now thats what i call a dry ice bomb lol

  • Gookuler fenirby is consentular to our rival.

  • the bird at 00:37 is like wtf!

  • Yeah, funny if they missed by a km, and hit land

  • yeah thx america for destroyin our world

  • Are you stupid or what? Theres a lot more of kinds of energy, water, air, you don't know about that?

  • lol course i do, but would you rather have a town full of solor panels and wind turbines or one nuclear power station, i'm sorry but nuclear,,, or the new fission power station being made will be the future. yea yea a few gamma rays wont kill you, considering there developing materials simmilar in a neutron star which gamma rays cannot escape from, we will be able to despose of waste in the next 50 years

  • You don't need a billion of solar panels to power-up a town.

  • there only about 20% efficient, they will never be the "future" unless they become around 60% efficient, and yes you need a hell of a lot of solor panels to power a city,we have two large solor panels on our house costing around 5000 pounds i think, there pretty expensive, considering after ten years it still would have been cheaper to take it directly from the grid.

  • definatly... solar isnt the way forward since it takes more energy to make a solar panel than its every likely to produce!(aslong as you dont mind waiting for decades with current technology). nuclear is the only viable way to meet the enormous energy requirement..

  • So water-fuel cell technology shouldnt be promoted ahead of nuclear? Hydrogen is the ultimate fuel its so good they use in space rockets and can be extracted from water. H.E.P turbine system to power the extraction process/plant. Rather seefiremen tackle one of them type of fires than a nuclear type not to mention the life-cycle effects. German Navy have harnesed water-fuel cell technology in their modern u-boat. Hydrogen isnt new just unpromoted the process would incurr little revenue

  • Any person who promotes green power is a sensible person, and i agree with you 100% that a hydrogen economy would be a smart move in the long run. but how do we manufacture hydrogen? the procedure of electrolysis requires a huge current, where does that electricity come from? this is why i would advocate nuclear power, the unfortunate stigma attached to it is only a result of it being abused (ie a bomb). when compared with coal fired power plants it is definatly the lesser of two evils.

  • i think its important for people to realise that all our power isnt going to come from one source, rather the harnessing of a range of sources; a HEP turbine is a good idea, but were talking about a massive amount of power for electrolysis here, and barely a handful of viable HEP sites in the UK.

  • Ya dead right so its about time our governments started funding development programmes which could develop the means necessary to make the process efficient and economically viable, current technology inhibits i know but from the moment the first atomic and hydrogen bombs were detonated it didnt take long for development in that area to hit our doorsteps, literally. We are still feeling the effects of windscale today a lot of families and farmers suffered, it was astutely swept under the carpet.

  • The area was renamed sellafield and in the last 50 years that area has had some very serious accidents btw Whats more and worse for me is the goverments passive and uninformative position. Not to mention the nuclear waste we regularly export to japan, which could be refined to weapons grade, a dont mean any disrespect deacs but i dont think you have weighed our options up very thoughtfully; thorpe plant leak, windscale vitrifacation plant and the recent demolition (sep,2007) of 4 cooling towers.

  • Cont'd

it goes without saying that any power we generate should not pose a threat to public health, and it may interest you to know that a coalfired plant produces 100times more radiation anually than a nuclear plant.

when you refer to windscale as an argument against nuclear, remember that it was built in haste to compete in the cold war; it was poorly designed and poorly maintained by technicians who didnt really understand the technology. today, the whole thing would easilly be avoided.

  • Cont'd

The thorpe plant leak posed no threat to the public but nevertheless was a result of some major negligance. i do agree that exporting waste to japan or anywhere else is foolish even if they are allied. what i am saying is if we look after this technology it will comfortably take care of our power needs for the foreseeable without destroying the atmosphere or killing 3million anually through carcinogen related illness.

  • Firstly, im sure no disrespect was meant. nobody holds all the answers and the future of our power production cannot be decided by one person.

i can tell you are somewhat anti nuclear, but what would happen if we took coal and gas plants out of the equation? renewables at our disposal eg. solar, wind/water turbine contribute a negligable amount of power at 2% of overall needs. currently, it is a fact that nuclear is the only way to viably made up the huge deficit.

  • For sure i hear your arguement especially with current common knowledge backed up by scientific reports, it is the ultimate ultimate and although i cannot agree more that research in nuclear science should proceed i do also think that it is a dangerous limitation, and a global risk if an alternative technology or fuel source isnt pursued or developed. Im sure it would inspire great confidence that would resonate universally much more positively with joy instead of fear possesing, can you agree?

  • ALso the public threat that windscale delivered wasnt and has proved not unwarranted. The name change to sellafield like some dodgy taxman dodging buisness, hasnt fooled me even if it has you i have seen the effects with my own eyes. i notice also that its built way up north away from london and oh yeah just a stone throw from the Lake District

absolute idiots in my opinion, but hey were all entitled to one right. I hope then that parents can be prepared to tell storys of a 1nce unique place.

  • i absoloutley agree. what we should be striving for is a clean, productive and most importantly safe method of generating our power, without relying on other governments. to that end i fully support research/investment into a hydrogen economy. i only advocate nuclear for short term production; a step away from fossil fuel burning (in the same way that burning gasoline for vehicles should only ever have been a stepping stone to superior technology) untill we can get hydrogen plants going.

  • cont'd

also i appreciate that there may have been some foul play in the sellafield incident but this was government initiative and thus cannot be marked down against nuclear. the wool has not been pulled over my eyes, i just recognise nuclear as the realistic alternative. already we are feeling the pinch soaring energy bills.

  • Cont'd

in all probabillity these will continue to rise, eventually to the point of intolerence and where using simple ammenities cannot be justified. every year we hear of OAP's dying of cold because they cant affort energy bills. our industrial potential is being stifled because of energy shortage. the carbon footprint is massive. this is not acceptable. it is detrimental to our economy, health and the atmosphere if we continue down this road.

  • For sure deacon u are dead right, its a monopoly

we are trapped within, all must play the game.

Im tired of bad news lets have some good news, where theres a will, theres a way. Somehow were excluded from actual vote...

Were on the right track lets hope actual opinion can transpire.

    Peace

  • exactly. unfortunately its the big oil/fossil fuel corporations that are in control here. as long as there is still oil in the ground there is still business to do...

we are at a crossroads; we either embrace clean abundant energy and enter a new high tech age of achievement, or we can continue on the current path. i know what id choose.

    Peace.

  • Id like to think deacs hope that were on the verge, edge of a new, fantastic revolutionary invention and i hope when it arrives its of a more generous nature than were used to seeing, something everyone can benefit from not just a few. At this rate of demand the media will really hot up. The path we are being led on leads to greed and war, alternative methods and means tryed and tested must be pursued before greed kicks in, consumingly.

  • Is any one aware if this blast or others like it created any tsunami of noticeable size?

  • Nothing that would reach and land, the goverment can somehow hide these blasts o_O

  • Amazing....

  • let go surfing! it's nice to ride 1k feet wave!

  • 1k feet radioactive wave, lol. Prepare to glow in the dark. :d

  • i would love to buy one of those bombs

  • SONS OF.....

  • lol thats so sick

  • new fishing style lol

  • LMAO...this is how the crab boats make their quota without raising their labor. Good one superkhan!

  • what if they dropped an atomic bomb to the bottom of the deepest part of the ocean and detonated it...that would be interesting

  • no kidding.....I wonder what the effect would be. it would be more subtle, but push a larger amount of water for sure.

  • I wonder if it would make the entire surface of the ocean bulge upwards. That'd be pretty useful if you wanted to flood some coastal town with gigantic radioactive waves.

I really hope no country tries this because of my comment...that would really suck.

  • The deepest part is actually full of faults. since shock waves are so strong in liquids, you may set off a few small earthquakes.

  • Those participated in this test must be psychopaths.

  • hippie

  • So? Hippies kick ass bitch

  • poor fishys

  • Sweet explosion.. Named my home town also. :)

  • would like to see in fast motion

  • those fish wouldent be good eatin

  • FINNALY!!!! a good way to catch fish

  • i live in albuquerque. BURQUE PRIDE. well assuming you like complete destruction of everything solid :D

  • SEXY & SEXY & SEXY

  • Don't try this at home:P

  • what the hell is with little kid's obsessions with skipping rocks?

  • I'LL TAKE TWO PLEASE

  • I know im gonna take shit over mentioning a phrase from a character on a science fiction tv show.but"Human Beings are most Illogical"

  • gerag1, your so retarded. Yeah sure everyone wants world peace, go to Afghanistan or Iraq and tell the terrorists there you want world peace, see what they say.

  • Shhhhhhhh. Don't confuse him with fact.
