wow this sure is one i never ever heard before , where have they kept this recording at? really like it even as old as it is, could not have done much before he became well known i see it was 1954 is this the whole recording or is there more? it does not really mater just glad they found it i know there is so may more they are finding all the time, hard telling jujst how much more recordings they can find
What a rarity! I am seeing many of these pictures for the first time. Kid Elvis, Boy Elvis, Teenager Elvis. Putz!. I have to thank you for share them wih all of us. Congratulations. My Happiness, That's when your Heartaches begin and I'll never stand in your Way were relesead officially. Casual Love Affair, didn't. (from Brazil).
And also on 1:12 the people with elvis look very weird cause of their hair. The ones that look the weirdest are the ones that elvis is between with. This picture looks like it's from 1952.
So UNIIQUE!!! watch the picture at 1:12-1:16..Elvis is wearing clothes that are so different then the other boys . that has always been Elvis. I believe that is Jerry Shillings on the far left Elvis's lifelong friend and his very true friend.......Theses are some great early Elvis pictures...Super!!!!
As you know, this long lost SUN recording was first issued on the 1997 four disc box set "Platinum: A Life In Music". Before 1997, I never knew that this recording even existed. This recording was truly a great find. This is such a truly great song too. This video was absolutely magnificent in every way, 10 Stars as always Jackie.
Written by Fred Rose and Walter (Hy) Heath. Elvis recorded it January 4, 1954 along with Casual Love Affair during his second visit at Memphis Recording Service on a 10-inch acetate for $4. It was at this time that Elvis first met Sam Phillips. This song is available on A Touch of Platinum, Platinum-A Life in Music, and Master & Session Sun Recording Sessions. I do not know if Casual Love Affair has ever been released.

This is such a lovely song and it seems he sang it with such feeling. I wished he recorded it again when he was older.
