Why didnt they film the real landing. That landing is obviously from a diffrent jump. That jump ifrom where he lands is much shorter and from some kind of ramp.
Its not a different jump, i live in Lillehammer (the location its filmed) and I have actually jumped in this skijump. Its just that the jump looks steeper when filming from the top than the sides and bottom. But I see its different to notice from someone who don't live here. Maybe if you watch footage from the 94 olympics you will recognize the background scenery better :P
Travis Pastrana or Ken Block , it's not the stig we see all the time, Stig never would react like that and turn off the snowmobile lol

And its not actually mooses either, its reindeer. Even if it was'nt reindeer it would be called Elk, wich is a different moose/elk type.
