Yeah honestly Ran reminds me of Canibus sometimes . . . even though Canibus is more of a backpacking underground rapper, the way Ran articulates his bars is reminiscent of Rip's self-proclaimed microphone meticulousness. The fact Ran has more charisma and a more pleasant voice (NO homo) doesn't hurt, either, since compared to Bis, as far as recognition and releases, Ran is just a mixtape/street album rapper. Budden definitely killed it, but even if Ransom had the better performance, to Mouse's credit, he was a guest on the original and only spit for a minute (give or take). If Budden had spit for 2 and a half minutes, they'd be comparable . . . but as it stands you can't even say Ran outdid him because he hit it solo.
