i disagreee with you on the sticks and stones knife thing. If there wasnt meant to be knifing on it, they wouldnt have thrown the ballistic knife in it. And to attempt to discourage people in using it, it only gives 25% of the points a cross bow gives. Knifing in THAT game type doesnt bother me.

Tomahawks in sticks and stones are completely ridiculous. Everybody throws them more or less randomly at the start of every encounter, so you are pretty much doomed to be hit by one or two of them during a match. The brutality of humiliation in sticks and stones makes the whole game mode seem extremely random, as you can easily get a random tomahawk in your back with only a couple of seconds left in the game and no way of recovery.

dude you only get 25 points in S&S for a knife while you get either 100 or 200 for a crossbow kill (i forget which).

4 kills compared to one flukey explosive crossbow kill doesn't seem too unbalanced.

Having said that, I hate knifing on the whole, in any game type. Damn the noobs on default layout.

Well in sticks in stones knife kills only give you 25 points, when a crossbow kill, or a ballistic knife kill(fired) gives you 100 points. I think thats how they try to stop those people from winning.

I totaly agree with you, but kniffing in this game, so far, is a HUGE issue all around, not just in wager modes. One of the things that agravates me the most while I'm playing in multiplayer is the randomness of the hitboxes for the knife. I can knife a guy in the chest, while I'm running past him, really near him, but as soon as I'm past him, he swings is knife in the complete opposite direction I was headed and kills me. It's like the hitboxes are laggy, or something like that :S

I get where you are coming from on the whole sticks and stones knifing thing but you get more points from getting crossbow kills than you do knifing. So say someone gets 3 knife kills and i get 1 crossbow kill i will still be ahead of him in points and therefore in the lead.

Maybe it's a bit different or much more prevalent on Xbox, I'm on PS3. But I don't see knifing as a problem in S&S. And I don't bother knifing until I run out of ammo. Even then I prioritize picking up knives. You get 100 points for crossbow and BK kills, and only 25 for knifing. Knifing also risks getting tomahawked.

 Stand in the most open area of the map and DANCE. Always move, and keep your distance. Also, hip-fire the CB at medium-close range. ADS slows you down.
