  • This brings back memories! I remember telling my mum to buy Simplicity Towels when we'd run out of kitchen towels. I got a whack and didn't know why :-/ :D

  • They were the good old days when adverts were cool much better than the crappy adverts we have now such as the crap Go Compare moron Confused.com etc argghhhhhh, take me back to the 1990s away from these sad lalish years.

    The 1990s rock!

  • out of those adverts I remember the lockets, HP and british airways

  • Stphen Fry on a Daz ad? Oh my...

  • Frutini... i can remember having those in our cupboards as a youngster, im still they still sell them or the equivalent of them, mite have had a name change.

Wiered how i can remember alot of these but was only 8 in 1990.

  • bring bk the old adverts and get rid of barry scott and the fuckin go compare guy

  • Nice to see Frank Bruno before he lost the plot

  • The lockets and fruit adverts were creepy.

Ahaha, I lolled at 'what helps fight against sweaty armpits'

  • Del Monte's noo Frutini. Love it.

  • HP sauce ad with Frank Bruno no what I mean Harry. This is all my bf eats he is obsessed with it lol I remeber the simplicity advert take everythin in your stride ha ha. Fruitini I remember those were nice the old ad for Daz old old old

  • why cant they make ads like this any more?

and who washes shirts with change in the pocket?

  • whats the song at 2:46?????

  • Man...Is it really nearly 20 years ago!!! I'm getting old :(

  • same ere lol

  • ooooooh yeah NOW i remember the first advert! haha wierd how i remembered the tunes advert as well ;)

and why the hell do chips in the adverts always look so insanley appertising?!

LOL @ frutini! they should bring that advert back!

  • "When you turn up at an airport, who knows what you might face?"

They're right. I really wouldn't have expected a cornfield. Thank god for BA and it's fleet of combine harvesters! They think of everything.

  • how many times do they say fruitini in that bloody ad!

  • 11 times i think.

  • @kevw73 I Fruitini counted, he's Fruitini right, it's Jewson 11. Fruitini.

  • i remember that british airways one that always remends me of sunday nights and thinking i've got to go to school monday morning

  • Sickly florescent orange Uncle Ben's served over lumps of stringy water-inflated antibiotic-fed pig.... Looks rank!

  • Yum lol

  • wow I remember the lockets one! and I loved the one thats was "does you does or does you dont take Access?"

  • Help what advert had the catch thrase "thats handy harry stick it in the oven" please help its driving me up the wall

  • I believe it was the first advert for oven pizzas. Not sure on the brand though.

  • Actually just found the ad as part of another YouTube video called "ITV Ad Break, 1981". It was Birds Eye.

  • Bruno's eating steak+chips and.. brussel sprouts. Who the fuck eats brussel sprouts with steak+chips. fuckin' mad man

  • Hope that wasn't a dig lol.

  • I know, Bruno's so thick that food combining is not his strong point, and the only way I'd eat sprouts is if I've smothered them in HP sauce first. Disgusting things. They should be banned. Mike S.

  • @red456x didnt he sectioned so your right mate he was a mad man lol

  • I remember the Simplicity and Lockets ads..they must have run certain ads for years that we remember them so clearly

  • Stephen Fry was still there back then!

  • I remember the lockets advert, and the fruitini one rings a bell.

I've watched a few of these now, all I can say is, bloody'ell, never realised there were so many pantyliner adverts.

  • Of these ads, I remember Locketts and HP Sauce.

  • Frank Bruno was a Rhodesian/South African athlete right? I didn't think he was English

  • Frank Bruno is a Londoner!

  • Oh ok Piker46. I am sorry I assumed wrong. He was a rugby player though wasn't he? Or was he a boxer?

  • he was a boxer

  • Yes, Frank Bruno's British! Which is more than can be said for HP Sauce nowadays. Hundreds of jobs were axed in Aston, Birmingham only for the brand's new owners - Heinz (American) - to transfer production to the Netherlands. Frankly, not many British people are H.P. about it, especially those in Aston, whom I wouldn't blame if they have boycotted the product. Mike S.

  • The good old days!

Better than the shit adverts these days with people like barry fuckin scott on them!

    Thanx!!

  • Here, here! My pleasure!

  • Any Golden Crown adverts? The one with the fat dragon who burns toast or the one where the cow swallows the kinds phone?

  • HI! BARRY FUCKIN SCOTT HERE! I ONLY SHOUT BECAUSE I LOVE THE SOUND OF MY OWN VOICE! Actually, I'm not Scotty and yes, I prefer the old days of TV ads, none of the in yer face culture we have nowadays. Mike S.

  • Yeah everything is all been americanised.

Just because they have to be shouted at to get the message...thick cunts!

Bring back the good old days!!!!

  • @Piker46 Agreed!
