  • i just got my hoodie today (canada hope it ships fast)

  • Can you check out my shop please: julia.spreadshirt

I also have a video of the different designs I offer, on my channel!

  • How is this different from heatpress printing? Or is it the same?

  • check out my store confucioussays.spreadshirt

  • I ordered a T-shirt on Spreadshirt :)

  • uniqueshoprock spreadshirt net

  • Logos, pictures, etc. don't wear off during laundry, right?

  • kingskreative.spreadshirt.co.uk/

  • we make the shirt, and you print it??

  • @GuyBlue78 Exactly

  • whats the difference between flex and digital?

  • hey

  • I purchased a few t-shirts from you guys a while back. And the graphics I designed when printed onto the t-shirt had a large white square as it's background which wasn't in my original design. It took away the look of the design and made it look very cheap. I use Macromedia Flash, can you tell me if there's anyway I can upload a design so it doesn't have this white square. Thanks

  • @moneyman1982 Were your designs vector or raster image graphics? I had that problem with raster images, but I figured out how to upload raster image graphics without the white background. Make the white background of your designs transparent in whatever graphics editing program you have.

  • @NelsonGhostHunter Sorry when it comes to computers I'm not that great lol. So is the method to make a transparent background difficult. Because if it is I won't have a hope in hell in understanding it. As I usually just exported all my designs in PNG format as I was told this was the best format for this sort of thing. And thanks for the help.

  • @moneyman1982 Don't worry, it's fine. No, it's not difficult. Try watching some youtube video tutorial of how to make the background of a imagine transparent. They will visually help you big time :)

  • @NelsonGhostHunter Thanks for the help:)

  • I coudnt find anywhere on the Internet a Angerfist Sweater Hooded : /.

so I found Spreadshirt and created my own Angerfist Sweater hooded :)

I cant wait till I get it^^, I am sure making your own Shirt of Angerfist or any other group would be much more cooler if you let your fantasie do the work

  • no screenprint?

  • @Schucki86 no, because it's printed on demand -- from one piece. to produce a screen for each SINGLE piece would be a bit too expensive and take too much time (as we ship more than 1,5 million shirts a year) .. but we also offer bulk services.

  • The only thing that annoys me is: If your european and you want to buy something fron an amarican shop, you have to pay tons of money for the shipping, because its made in the USA.

You can only visit the ship from .COM, not .DE, .EU, .AT or whatever.

    There is a guy w/ awesome shirts, but I can´t buy em´! :(

  • @McSaibot yeah, agree - that can be annoying. the reason behind it is that we have different types of apparel in EU and US, and shipping is what the fulfillment company charges :/

however, one way to work around: ask the partner if he wants to open a shop for EU, too. it's easy and he can contact us to help him transferring the designs (so he doesn't have to upload all designs again).

    cheers,

    ami.)

  • @McSaibot Exactly... I'm from Portugal, and I wanted a shirt for my Bday, which is preety close. D:

  • @McSaibot

Spreadshirt is also in the Netherlands?

  • Hi, i have a problem because i made my own logo and the background is white but i want my background to be left away. How can i solve this?

  • @skillfreerunning Hey, I am not allowed to send you links here, but there is a Help article on our site in the Vector and Pixel Graphics category. It's the third from the bottom: "What are transparent backgrounds and how do I use them?" If you need more help, please contact our service team via email. Thanks!

  • @spreadshirt thanks! it helped a lot !

  • Hi, i have a problem because i made my own logo and the background is white but i want my background to be left away. How ca i solve this?

  • Just wondering, do you guys still have the glow-in-the-dark print? Cant find it on the designer.

    U rock!

    /fritte

  • @frisater96 we still have glow in the dark. below the product in the designer next to the print colors is a drop down for our different printing techniques (default is flex print). choose our specialty flex print and you will find glow in the dark in there.

    Enjoy!

  • another question ^_^ i was just wondering why they didn't use flex print on my black hoodie instead of digital direct seeing as the design i choose only consisted of 3 colors; blue, white & grey? haha..sorry about all this feedback x D

  • @xlKiSS3S 1. Color differences. The reason it looks different on the screen compared to the print is the well-known issue of CMYK and RGB differences between printing and display colors.

    2. We must have the design in vector format to print it with flex or flock and that design must be checked by our team that it meets requirements. All other designs will be printed with Digital Direct.

There is little room to explain here, so if you have more questions, please write our service team.

  • as said on the description, the design was done via. digital direct print~

  • i got my black hoodie order a few days ago & i was pretty happy with the results, and happy tht it was a perfect fit. my only concern was about the printing (cutting & everything else was perfectly fine) , the colors of the design (just the blue portion) seemed a little faded and was not as vibrant as seen in the picture of how it had looked like on the website. The blue originally had that neon glow kind of touch to it, but it turned out as a light chalky blue on the hoodie.

  • How long do the digital direct prints generally last? Thanks!

  • I am wondering how long the digital direct print generally lasts. I am aware that the flex print is more durable and will "outlast the shirt itself," but I'm hoping that my already ordered digitally printed t-shirt will have a lengthy longevity. Thanks!

  • thank you so much : D i'm happy i could rely on your products : )

  • i have a question ^_^ i'm planning on purchasing a hoodie with a design made by spreadshirt & i was wondering if the design will last long? ^^ cuz im hoping its not the type to crust off after putting it in the washing machine or the type to peel off easily : ( lol thanks in advance ~

  • @xlKiSS3S - the flex and flock prints on our hoodies are very durable, and actually last longer than the products themselves. You can also find a detailed overview of our printing techniques in the description of the video.

  • @spreadshirt Hi! I have a store on Spreadshirt, and I was wondering where does it give me the option to select flex, or flock - I upload my own designs as a png. I want to do so to test my first shirt out but in flex - not digital printing as i suppose its going to come out in since i can't choose. Thanks in advance

  • @snoopyalien24 Hi, I've been working with Spreadshirt since early this year.

The short answer is that you must make a vector based design in order for it to be available for flex or flock printing. Do you have Adobe Illustrator or Corel Paint? Those are two of the main programs you would need. Flex/flock has several limitations though; The design must be 11.8 x 11.8 inches or smaller, sections of the design must be at least 0.06 x 0.06 of an inch big... (running out of space, read next reply)

  • @snoopyalien24 (continued from previous reply)... Spaces in between elements must be at least 0.04 x 0.04 of an inch apart, and the design is limited to 3 colors. Feel free to send me a line if you have any other questions. I can give you a designer shop's owner point of view on things.

  • @palerider1775 Why thank you for actually answering to my question, i have adobe Photoshop and export as eps, still nothing ?

  • @snoopyalien24 No, that still won't do it. Saving a file that contains pixel graphics as an EPS will not actually convert the pixels to vectors. It just means that file type can contain pixel graphics within it.

Are you aware of the difference in between pixel ("raster") and vector graphics? Do a quick search and read up on it. It should give you a better understanding of why only vector graphics can be used for flex/flock printing.

  • @palerider1775 well I do know about using PhotoShop and vector images like in Illustrator - but I only use shape tools and the brush in the image usually that wouldn't have a problem resizing but oh well I guess ill stick to crappy digital press lol

  • @snoopyalien24 thanks @palerider1775 for helping with the answer. there's always the option of converting your png to a vector with Inkscape or Illustrator. In my opinion, flex and flock are the way to go and worth taking a closer look. Write our design service team if you have any specific questions. designs at spreadshirt (as an email address).

  • I am so excited, just made my first order!!!!

  • @gamerville cool! let us know how it turns out!

  • @spreadshirt Received our order today. Here's the review: youtube.com/watch?v=bQTPNQpqPwU

  • I wish video quality was better so I can see those more clearly.

    nice video anyway

  • Yeah! I have a Spreadshirt Store now too!!

    Keep on YouTubin!

  • god I love you guys!! i order all the time, It's soooo reliable and you can just make exactly what you want instead of settling for something similar and paying more for it. This was pretty helpful and cool too (:

  • Is that a Canadian accent?

  • "Fighting Cocks"... ?! WHAT ?

  • i thougt the same xD

  • Cock is de male version of a chicken..

    -.-

  • I got mine today Thnx Guys~~

  • You guys are great!

  • Christine is HOT!

  • its definitely a step up, but people should probably know that using anything other than the standard from spreadshirt means you're paying a killer premium. I cut vinyl all day and you'd be suprised what we've been able to do as far as gradients, but that's our little secret. learn to do it on your own and you will save yourself a lot!

  • I live in the Netherlands. Do you have any places where you can fit a jacket for the size before you buy it?

  • i just got my shirt today. i love it. spreadshirt KICK ASS

  • How do you make money off of this

  • @hudsonboy100 Got my shirt just NOW !!!

  • I use spreadshirt as my printing option for my shop and I have had some nice reviews back, the shirts are comfortable and soft and the printing looks great!

I have researched with other t-shirt vendors but I chose Spreadshirt because they seemed to have a really organised printing system and shop..

  • Is the shop-product commission the way you make the money. For example if I set the shop-product commission at 10 dollars I would get 10 dollars a shirt

  • Vector printing has given me excellent quality from Spreadshirt. Spreadshirt has satisfied every need for my t-shirt shop. I use there shirts as work clothes and to promote new items as well as special events.

  • your digital printing is crap, i just got my hoodie from yours and it looks like you just printed onto ducktape and stuck that on, not impressed!!!

  • Listen to the whole video and they explain each option including the one you chose.

Spreadshirt is very good quality and I have good experiences working with them.

  • Trish-

I'm glad youre a satisfied customer, but as a producer I have to say it's sub par at best. you just don't know better yet. well, maybe you do by now. but im reluctant to give you that credit.

  • damn! im sure i made the same mistake.. i just ordered a t-shirt with a transparent PNG image. is that what you did aswell?

im not sure if my image/logotype will be "cut out" now :(

  • what is the difference between a regular png and a transparent one.

  • I was just worried that it would be a layer behind the print when I chose a transparent png. but it worked out pretty good actually. but next time Im gonna go with vector graphic.
